The new owner is looking to employ someone to help out with some admin tasks and possibly some packing. Approx 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Knowledge of MS Excel an advantage. 17.01.2022 Just to let you all know, it is business as usual at MY Fruit and Vegie Man, and at present, we are able to take on a few new customers if you have friends or family struggling to find produce, or just not wanting to visit the shops. HOWEVER, there have been many changes at the markets with more to come over the next few weeks. Entrance to the markets is strictly limited and may be reduced further next week, with all contact with suppliers done by telephone and stock delivery directly to the truck. To enable us to manage this situation, we need orders to be placed early so that we can contact our suppliers early. For buyers like us, it will be first in, best dressed. For this reason, we will not be able to wait for late orders. KEY MESSAGE- Business as usual but orders in EARLY.

13.01.2022 Heatwaves, fire, windstorms and torrential rain. Weather conditions have been extreme lately and have resulted in crop damage and loss across the country. Throw in a few major road closures due to the effects of the weather and we have a situation where many of our everyday fruit and veg items are in very short supply. As a result, prices are sky-high. Hopefully the worst is over, and as new crops become ready for harvesting the prices will drop.
