It is NOT PYO as some people have managed to ruin it for the majority who respectfully adhered to IRYMPLE cherry farm's generosity to allow the public access to their property for a previously wonderful experience. Nevertheless, worth the drive for the most amazing cherries just off the tree.......and unlike the cherries being sold at 'you know where'..... these are grown just 30 minutes up the hill.... 10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, No doubt we are all in the midst of disbelief at the moment regarding the availability of fresh produce and other certain items at the local supermarket...witnessing some extremely selfish acts by individuals. Its very sad. We would like to think that anyone coming to Fruit Loop (La Fattoria) to pick up farm fresh fruit will be on their best behaviour keeping in mind, that our health and wellbeing of our family is paramount.... We have strengthened our already high levels of hygiene however we wish to ask the following from you before you visit us. If you are thinking of heading up the hill this weekend to buy our fruit, please keep the number of people coming with you to a minimum perhaps nominate one person buying for a group of you instead. Please do not bring international visitors for a look around if they are within their 14 day isolation. We would appreciate a cashless transaction to avoid contact and minimize potential transmission. We are very fortunate to have a number of farmgates within our district who also supply homegrown fruit and veges. These include Bickley Valley Fresh and The Fruit Corner. It can easily fit into the "takeaway" category with online orders and contactless payments etc but given Fruit Loop is also our family property, the risk far outweighs the benefits of continuing to trade....... 05.01.2022 Anyone for stewed fruit? These Shiro plums had a bashing with the extreme temperatures we've been having lately.... They've literally cooked on the tree.... Actually all our fruit has struggled so far... We've lost pretty much all our early nectarines and peaches to brown rot and fly strike which is pretty disappointing because we now can't offer them to you. So we'll just keep sharing the amazing farmgates around us who are still able to offer beautiful Perth Hills produce.
