01.01.2022 18 km is a long way... but Fruit Squad is proud to support a fantastic initiative. Well done boys! Hello friends, With the help of Nick Ryan and Benjamin Wallis I have decided to participate in Lifestarts Kayak for Kids representing both the Sydney Uni Rugby Club and the Fruit Squad in team SUFC Fruit Squad. On Sunday 20th March we will face the challenge of paddling in a three person kayak across the 18km course, all against the inspiring backdrop of Sydney Harbour, from Blu...es Point to Balmoral Beach and back to Clifton Gardens, in an effort to fundraise for children with a disability or developmental delay. Lifestart is a not for profit registered charity providing early childhood intervention and school age services to children living with disability and their families across greater Sydney. Lifestart provides early childhood intervention and school age services for families and children from birth to school age to children who have been diagnosed with a disability or developmental delay. We have set up a SUFC fundraising page for the event called 'SUFC KAYAK FOR KIDS' (link below) and any support would be greatly appreciated. This is a tremendous cause and every dollar helps. And if that isn't enough surely the thought of Nicko, Ben and I trying to paddle 18km through the harbour will get you over the line. Once again any generosity is appreciated and hopefully we can really get behind this wonderful event and raise a lot of money for a really good cause. Thanks again for your support.
