21.01.2022 Last season we partnered with the Buninyong Football Netball Club to host the annual Buninyong Bash Thanks to the enormous generosity of our members, sponso...rs, and the community we were able to raise over $1,500 which has been donated to the Bermagui Cricket Club and Bermagui Breakers Australian Rules Club. Last summer, these great community clubs united to support their township during one of the toughest times in Bermagui’s history. We hope that our small contribution helps to support these clubs and their community to bounce back from these devastating circumstances. A special mention to Daniel Hardy at Hardy Homes and Ballarat Mobile Coolrooms Hire for generously sponsoring the 2019/20 Buninyong Bash.

02.01.2022 Following the Association Zoom Meeting held last Monday the below was made offical COVID-19 - The Association has set up a COVID 19 safe plan and all clubs have been told that a each club must have a plan themselves and a COVID safety officer or officers for training and game days ... Cricket Australia Safe Guard Junior Cricket- The Association has adopted the policy by Cricket Australia and Cricket NSW and each cub has been told they must adopt this policy in their club ASAP before season starts. Which included a child safety officer/s at each club as well. Helmet Policy - it was agreed that Association not enforce the Helmet policy by Cricket NSW however we at the Association are highly recommending you wear a helmet if your over the age of 18 (Under 18s is already Mandatory for Wicket Keepers and All Batsmen/boy/girl ) as this policy will be looked at before the next season with the intention to implement the no helmet no play policy. Registrations - All Registrations (Senior Mens,Women’s,Juniors are to be held online to take off work loads of volunteers at each club and the Association it is very important as all clubs have nominated sides already its very important to sign up to your club today as draws will be getting created over this long weekend and it’s crucial the draw only gets done once per grade this season compared to previous seasons. Club Volunteers - No sporting clubs run by themselves and there is always plenty of jobs around each club to help club volunteers out could all parents and players help out when needed to or requested by your club. The Senior Season is only 2 Weeks away and the coming week there will a daily preview of each team each day in the lead up to the season starting which is as close as it has been with any of the 9 teams a chance to take out the One Day Competition before the Christmas Break.
