Did you know that Commonwealth NetBank Saver is only paying 0.50% UNLESS you MANUALLY go online and 'elect' to receive the bonus offer. It may vary but mine was +1.60%. Very sneaky. 10.01.2022 When tragic news ends in a positive outcome..... My 35 year old client was diagnosed with terminal cancer which has spread. I found out in JAN and was in shock. We just got his Income Protection claim approved, they've fast tracked 2 months in one hit. They've waived all premiums. And they've paid him a lot more than what he's earning (indemnity policy) using their "best 12 monthly income" in previous 36 month rule. They actually pulled the best 5 months from one year + slapp...ed it together with best 7 months from another year in an effort to do as much as they can for my client. It's heart breaking but I am so happy we can help him and his family. He has a 7 year old boy. I wish the world could see what we do for our loved clients instead of trying to bury us in bad press, incorrect assumptions and the short straw. Fight for your business, your career, your kids, your clients, your colleagues and your profession. As financial advisers, my colleges and I are treated unfairly and the great work (inc. pro bono work) never gets talked about. PROPER insurance cover PAYS, GOOD advice PAYS. 07.01.2022 Christmas & Goodbye 2019 Wrap up! Wow, what a year it has been. It has been the most challenging year in the industry, facing tougher regulation, lots of bashing from the media, government and bystanders. It's always the case of the bad apples and big banks ruining it for the rest. With that comes resilience and inner strength. In 2019 we managed to bring on board a handful of happy new clients, forge closer friendships with all our clients and help our clients with THREE inc...ome protection insurance claims. When clients call me to pour out their appreciation and say they cannot thank me enough - that right there - is why advisers do what they do for their clients! We enjoyed our end of year client XMAS party and it was a cracker. Cocktails, food and laughs enjoyed by all. The one thing I noticed was all the smiles in the room. Happy clients, friendships and newfound memories. Whilst 2019 has been challenging on many fronts, we are reminded that there is always someone worse off and we are blessed to be surrounded by love, laughs and support. Thanking all of our clients, family and friends for their loyalty, patience and friendship in 2019. Looking forward to helping my feel so good family (my clients) and their loved ones in 2020. 06.01.2022 Who's feeling clucky? Wanted to wish our clients Trav & Angela a HUGE FSGWM Congratulations on the arrival of their little bundle of fun before Christmas! Little Dex is super cute and already cutting his teeth on personal finance, having had attended our reflect and review session earlier this year! Trav also runs a super kick-ass health, wellness and personal training business called Train Recover Perform. Not easy juggling all those hats, keep it up guys!... Well done, he is adorable!

There is nothing better than enjoying good food, laughs and even better company after a long year of working hard on helping clients overcome obstacles and achieve their goals! Were building a really close tight knit community and we are excited about the new opportunities that 2019 holds! With all this talk about financial planning in the royal commission and advisers doing the wrong thing by their clients..., there are so many advisers doing wonderful, amazing life changing things that don't get any airtime or media attention. From pro bono work with the cancer council, running money basics sessions with school aged kids or just working day and night, through the night to make sure a broken wife and her kids get the insurance payout their entitled to as fast as possible. We've always had a few non-negotiables in business. Under promise, over deliver and treat our clients like family. Were so committed to continuing to provide an authentic and wonderful client experience and we look forward to all the wonderful friends and family that will be referred to us in 2019.

05.01.2022 Another wonderful Feel So Good Client Christmas party enjoyed by all. 2018 was our 3rd year straight at Humber. The team there do an amazing job and the chefs bust their backside all night, it's such a wonderful little space.Thanks Adam Murphy for your wonderful venue! It was always my vision to have a great space each year and throw an enjoyable party and create a little community within our client base. So far, it's been perfect, we have clients making new friends every yea...r. As the beers flowed and cocktails flew across the room, we enjoyed good food, good fun and wonderful company. Thanks to the wonderful Count Charitable Foundation we were again able to donate $2,500 to Barnardos Australia for all their incredible work making sure children have the very best chance of a safe, loving and secure childhood!
