08.01.2022 Now we're not boiler welders but one area we see so many contractors fall down in is the quality of their welds! We weld these fence brackets off site with a GMAW (Mig) so we can combat the dissimilar material thickness and poor fit up caused by the cuts on the standard posts. The 5mm plate is then welded to the uprights on site with MMA (stick welder). This has proven to give the best performance, alignment, asthetics and efficiency!! We also install the posts with drain hol...es regardless of whether they are capped or not because condensation can build inside them and rust them out from the inside out! These are about to be painted with zinc rich corrosion protection and installed for a customer on Sunday!
