16.01.2022 Use this information very wisely and ONLY in a life and death situation. Unfortunately many people have died in Australia from hitting their head on the ground. The Matthew Stanley law was introduced here called "One punch can kill" after he died from hitting his head after someone punched him. After teaching and training in Martial arts for 25years, I too agree like the warning given in this video to be very careful when used for that reason where the attacker may hit thei...r head on hard surface. Ensure the correct force continuum is used or you will face charges of grievous bodily harm and could include manslaughter. This law will be used against you as deadly force if used, unlawfully, however, if you are in a life or death situation it can also used to assist defenders because you know the following 1. One punch can kill 2. So you feared for your life. But do not use this as an excuse to use it, as your actions will be tested by authorities. Also within the security industry in Australia it is illegal to hit, choke or use any attack or hold to throat. There are a number of strike point to effectively disarm the attacker but this is certainly one of the easiest and fastest. Pete See more

12.01.2022 Never judge a book by its cover. I have dealt with many homeless on the streets esp while pastoring and now in the security industry. Our company Davki Security Group provide homeless swags and packs for those we find with nothing who we have to move on from assets we secure. Our security patrol guards deal respectfully with homeless every night and all homeless have a story. Yes some through stupid decisions, some been victims, some through addictions, and some just burnt ...out and checked out proffessional people who have money but can not and choose not to live within the society norm. Then there are many who have not been able to find a job or lost a job or family. " We are called to not judge but treat others as we would want to be treated." However it is important not to just perform the patterns but see your opponent and the attack strikes you are blocking within your mind.This will ensure your pattern training are not just motions but prepare you for true self defense challenges. Once perfected instinctively it is time for increase you speed of individual techniques away from the pattern motions. But remember solo training must begin with seeing your opponent with your mind and understanding what is required to defend. Pete
