23.01.2022 I've been sitting on these images for too long now, no time like the present to get them out. Last year i had the opportunity to shoot this amazing BMW K1100LT built by @twistedfate_builds. This shoot was a private commision organised by Scotts wife who thought his newly finished cafe racer deserved some proper photos. It was so much fun spending a few hours around the inner city area creating some images of this build and getting to know Scott and Lisa. I have to pinch mysel...f sometimes when a photoshoot like this doesnt feel like im 'working' at all, life is good when you get to spend it with rad people, rad bikes, creating and doing what you love. 23.01.2022 Its not often you get to work with not only your dream client but also your favourite motorcycle brand however last week i had that opportunity . I was fortunate enough to capture images for the Australian launch of the new Aprilia RS660. It was an intense 2 days of capturing the press launch, moto journalists, road riding, public unveiling VIP night at Bond Melbourne and then a road test the next day. 20.01.2022 A very nice bit of film-making and incredible riding on a machine not intended for this kind of punishment, the Yamaha Ténéré 700 Adventure bike. Even if you don't like motorcycles you have to admire what incredible skill( and big cojones) this rider has. Sometimes i dream of moving to Spain or Italy, it seems to be the epicentre of incredibly talented extreme sports photographers who get to shoot the best athletes for the best manufacturers and make a living doing so. They ...are living THE dream (well my dream at least). Back to reality and I am very much looking forward to the end of this lockdown so I can start shooting some riders in their element. 20.01.2022 Being back in lockdown again here in Melbourne is not ideal. It's hard not to reminisce on how much fun i was having this time last year riding the sandy beaches and dunes at Robe in South Australia. An amazing trip with the best crew, if you haven't ridden sand or along the beach i highly recommend making the pilgrimage to Robe and Beachport in South Australia. Hanging to get back out there again but for now these phone memories will have to do.

17.01.2022 Melbourne Lockdown isn't too bad when you have some pretty toys in your garage to shoot and a head full of ideas for new lighting setups. The problem is i have no-one to shoot to had to set the self timer and step in front of the camera. Just like riding motorbikes the thing I love about photography is that you never stop learning and can always strive to get better. Each day brings with it a chance to up your skills, express creative ideas all while practicing the craft. Also you cant crash or injure yourself with photography so thats a bonus.

14.01.2022 Had the pleasure of heading out to to Melbourne's newest MX track yesterday CityMx and had a ride of their Intermediate and Main track. The team have built a great complex thats so close to Melbournes CBD. As my photography skills are much better than my motocross riding skills i swapped out my Husky for the Nikon and shot a few of the riders later in the day. I'm really looking forward to riding here again.

12.01.2022 Back last year when us Melburnians were stuck in lockdown and slowly going crazy being cooped up inside, I decided to try a few new techniques in the studio with the help of my brother. I think all those years of playing counterstrike payed off for him as it did wonders for his posing techniques. It's exciting what you can create when you have all the time in the world, some studio flashes, fog machine,random props and watched too many 80s action movies as a child. The follow...ing images are pretty much how they came out of camera with some light colour correction, adjustments and toning adjustments in lightroom. 04.01.2022 To keep myself productive during Melbournes recent lockdown i've locked myself in my studio/garage at home and have been practicing some lighting and studio setups. The aim of this shoot was to create some punchy dramtic images of an off road rider. It was the perfect excuse for me to wear my Airoh Helmet and new @foFox Racing gear set. We are still not allowed to ride here in Victoria so i guess we all just have to play dress-ups. 01.01.2022 To keep myself somewhat sane and productive during the past 6 weeks of lockdown here in Victoria i've been trying to keep busy doing what i love and getting my creative fix with photography. Experimenting with new lighting and commercial style shoot setups in my garage studio has been fun but challenging and time very consuming. Not having anyone to pose in front of of the lens really does make things difficult when you have a head full of complex lighting ideas that you want... to practice so I had to jump in front of the lens for a few of these images to work. The short video you see here were all taken during our ongoing lockdown, not having access to the outside world including interesting outdoor locations or subjects has really pushed me to think outside the square and use other techniques to make these images somewhat interesting. The video here is just quick slideshow of the images I came up with, I'd love to hear some your feedback and what you all think.
