21.01.2022 THE NEWS THAT HAS SHOCKED OUR DANCE COMMUNITY!!! PLEASE READ.... As you all may be aware by now Nestor Manuelian has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer - August 2020. Nestor as we all know him is the heart and soul of the latin dance community and has poured his entire heart, love and energy into building the Latin dance community in Australia as we know it! ... If you are new to dance and don't know him personally, he truly has a heart of gold and is responsible for SO much MORE than just dance, giving his time and energy to many charity events and always happy to help in whatever cause comes his way. There is a long road ahead for Nestor and his beautiful wife Rebecca and a fundraiser has been set up by a loving student Natalia Ferrazzano who wanted to give back to help support them both throughout their difficult journey ahead! Medical costs and treatment are not cheap, the average out of pocket expense for cancer treatment is 50-100k!!! Nestor will be out of action for a period of time while he takes this challenge head on and in turn this will also have a huge effect on his life with his wife. So in light of this a fundraiser has been set up to run for 6 months, hoping to reach 100k to support them!!! We hope that this fundraiser will help alleviate some financial pressures and worries they both have in this difficult time, for on going medical/treatment/life costs etc. Nestor has brought so much to our lives and now its time to give back! Help us in supporting them and facing this challenge head on! Every little donation no matter how small is so greatly appreciated!
