25.01.2022 It's not every day you get to slab a Lone Pine. Commissioned by the Balmoral RSL to slab their Lone Pine that had to come down for safety reasons. Will make a great bar top for them.

25.01.2022 8 truck loads of logs today. Plus 2 loads on my trailer. Think I have enough wood for a while.

24.01.2022 Spoil board being surfaced on our new CNC router table capable of 1200x2600 work area.

24.01.2022 Finally. I have a big work shed being built soon. I will get it set up with all my woodworking gear and start marking some every day use furniture.

22.01.2022 Picked up this wopper today. 5m Cypress and about 4 foot diam at base. Estimated weight of 5 tonne. Trailer handled it well but was a slow trip home.

22.01.2022 It was such a beautiful old redgum log untill we started cutting into it. Wind swept. Causing the growth rings in the core to split apart and get bigger over years. But still we can produce the planks our client wanted even if the yield was down.

19.01.2022 Another old redgum log Milled to our customer's request. All 150x40 boards and kept the live edge on so they can make a bar top.

17.01.2022 Customer Sent me a picture of his pagola that we cut all the cypress for. Done a good job M.L. Hundreds of Lm of decking, posts and rails.

15.01.2022 Picked up another big bad boy today. This one will be slabbed. Time to sharpen all the the chains for this one.

08.01.2022 Sad day today. My friend and Mentor Ron Elliott passed away this morning. Ron was 84yo and had been wood cutting since he was a teenager. RIP Ron.
