24.01.2022 At Stannies today presenting Ancients to year 11.
12.01.2022 The Roman Auxliary Cavalry impression is coming along. Got out for a quick ride around the block today. Gave everything a bit of a workout. Found a jute string type bag that is handy to hang off one of the saddle horns. As is the costrel! Works great and kept the water cool. And check out the good luck charm hanging off the centre front of the breastplate ... I've spent a full day at events in my various medieval harnesses and I am planning to do some immersive events in my Ancient kits. So it is important that all this kit is fit for purpose. Just like the originals. Last photo is of the mail hamata from Medieval Fight Club. I also picked up a new clasp from them. This one is based on an original and is tinned brass. Lovely and blingy. 11.01.2022 Got it all together and rode out in it all. The Roman sounds over the audio for the first bit is because the quad bike was running in the background. Nothing was planned, just went for a ride through our back paddocks.
