Lian with another close and exciting bout. Another close decision we got on the right side of. ... Up next was Brad making his debut. Solid fight taking out the win. Digging deep witha bloody nose but getting his hand raised. Last was Matt, a year since his last boxing outing. Tricky experienced opponent as always for him to deal with. Couldnt find the shots he needed and played into the range of his opponent so lost the fight. Should of thrown more. Back to the training room Monday peeps! MORE BOXING AND APEX ON THE WAY!

09.01.2022 SA Boxing News Another awesome night of competition Saturday with some outstanding performances on display from our athletes. Well done to Boxing SA officials f...or such a well organised event in these challenging times. Saturday nights competition was followed up the day after with a BSA National Futures Camp, BSA Under 19s and Elite training with good attendance. All coach in attendance provided excellent coaching support to the athletes, an awesome day of learning thank you to all the coaches that assisted and family members that supported the athletes. Thank you, to Charlie Coumi who arrange for David Biddle to talk about his journey, as one of SA best performing athletes. The talk was amazing, informative for all to learn from. Big thank you to David Biddle for his time and experience. It is a real pleasure to see the athletes make improvements during the day and networking building friendships, compete against each other the night before then works together the next day, amazing. The enthusiasm during the day was outstanding, these athletes are learning continuously. Well done to you all very impressive. Thank you to Boxing SA for the tee-shirt presented to the Futures athletes on Sunday they look amazing a real team look. 06.01.2022 Please find attached the updated program for Saturday. Few changes due to some withdrawals Weigh-ins are 10am-11am at the venue Dom Polski Centre. Doctor w...ill be present. Boxers please be Clean shaven for weigh ins and bring your blue books if you have them for medicals. If you are not clean shaven you will be sent away to shave before weighing in. NO Red mouthguards are allowed to be worn. We have 17 bouts on the program. Doors will open at 4pm. Boxing to start 5pm. Due to Covid restrictions we are limited for numbers at the venue. There will be NO tickets for sale on the door. Boxers competing will be allowed to purchase 5 Tickets at morning weigh-ins. This will be the only time to purchase them. If you do not purchase the tickets at weigh-in you will miss out. Tickets are $25 each. You can pay in cash or BSA will have Eftpos facilities available. Each Club can have 2 coaches, clubs with 4 or more boxers on the program can have 3 coaches. BSA will be live streaming the event to purchase. The link for this will be posted shortly. Please share amongst your Clubs, family and friends regarding no tickets available to purchase at the venue and the Live streaming options. BSA will be running a canteen for food, soft drinks and water. There will be no alcohol at this event. BSA is looking forward to a great event. See more
