14.01.2022 Vid about our cover crop, cattle management and our soil goals to ultimately produce more nutrient-dense food. You are what you eat eats and what soil it came from.

12.01.2022 Last year Kylie was still working as a teacher, we had expanded the farm business and I was doing it all pretty much on my own. That was a year of character development that’s for sure. Relentless exhaustion sounds about right! Fast forward 6 months and it’s a very different scene here!!! My best friend/wife is now full time on the farm, and we have 3 other absolute legend staff members! On the far right is Dan; he manages all things animals. He also has a farm and cattle ...herd himself. Our plan is to partner with him to push his business forward . We believe in this young man and are excited to see his regen ag career develop. Next is Ethan; son of the famous Virginia from @gracespringsfarm (where he also works).Ethan manages our deliveries, equipment maintenance and product inventory. An amazing young man who is driven and has a great mind for business and farming. He is venturing into producing ducks and we will also partner with him to support his journey. His future in agriculture is huge and we are pumped for him! And lastly that scary looking guy is Oscar who has been volunteering here when he lost his job due to covid. His work ethic and his heart brings such joy to our farm so he’ll be sticking around for as long as we can keep him! All together this makes the FCF team and we thought it was time we introduced you to them. Kys and I are honoured to be surrounded by such great young men. See more

10.01.2022 Afternoon chores with my daughter. You don’t have to go far around here to feel grateful.

08.01.2022 Red means stop. Blue means go. Our chooks are moved every week onto a fresh paddock. The red area will be rested, then grazed by cattle once the grass is fully recovered. The blue area is their new paddock. New grass, bugs, grubs and worms. The problem with the industrial approach to egg farming has never been how many birds per hectare, but how often those birds STAY in that hectare. Most set ups are stationary. ... Pasture-raised generally uses portable infrastructure to allow better mimicry of what birds naturally do; migrate. Healthier happier birds, environmentally healing, better eggs. Simple. Done. 08.01.2022 This land hasn’t been cleared, tilled and planted in a mono-crop such as soy beans for tofu. It hasn’t been nuked with chemicals to grow that crop. Wildlife haven’t been deterred and killed. This is not a mine site. Instead; there’s life here. Cattle graze down the grass, pulsing carbon back into the soil, there are deer, birds, mice, snakes and earthworms. Soil is improving, chemicals are not needed, land is healing. And the centerpiece to this majestic orchestra of life.......-the humble cow. A documentary called @kissthegroundmovie on Netflix is a MUST watch to learn more. #itsnotthecowitsthehow #regenerativeagriculture

07.01.2022 Some of our pigs en route to their ‘one bad day’ after a long and happy life on pasture. We try to make sure their one bad day is more like ‘one bad moment’ by: - taking them to the abattoir ourselves. - reducing stress on the trip (sleepy pigs relaxing in sawdust gives you an idea of their current stress levels). - ensuring they’re processed on the same morning we take them. - working closely with the abattoir to make certain their death is quick and painless. ... To honour the animal, we use nose-to-tail principles promoting the use of the entire animal such as offal, bones and head. Confronting yes, but understanding the sacrifice causes us to not only respect the animal in it’s life, but also in it’s death. See more

05.01.2022 Hold onto your hats; we’ve got some exciting news! (Read to the end to see how this applies to you). Full Circle Farm will be working in partnership with the amazing Furracabad Cattle Station to bring more regenerative beef to the masses. We have been buying our cattle from Ryan and Kate from Furracabad for the last couple of years and couldn’t be happier with their regenerative ethics and cattle. What sets them apart is a fascinating approach to breeding cattle that is r...evolutionizing the grass-fed beef market in Australia. Most cattle in Australia are large-framed animals that are bred to fatten on grain. This has been the trend as feedlots are where the majority of cattle are finished. Makes sense right? Well, not if you’re trying to produce healthier, more ethical grass-finished beef. This requires a more compact, efficient type of animal. Enter Pharo Cattle Company genetics. Over the last 30 years or so, Kit Pharo has bred the ultimate grass-fed animal that is easy-doing and thrives on grass alone. It’s really hard to explain how incredibly vital this approach is to growing the regenerative, grass-fed beef market. It's a game changer to say the least. Furracabad Station (partnered with Pharo Cattle Company)imported genetics from the states and the rest is history. So what does this mean for you? Furracabad and FCF will be working together to produce a more consistently available beef product that is produced in a regenerative and ethical manner. Add this to our expanding chicken, eggs and pork enterprises, throwing in local lamb available from our friends and we have a recipe to launch home deliveries into Sydney early next year! (Comment if you’re from Sydney and interested and we’ll send you some details) Regenerative agriculture is exciting, but what’s even more exciting is regenerative farms working together to make access to this food more achievable for you. Time to step this thing up a level....here we come! See more

04.01.2022 All creation sings.

01.01.2022 A record 287 chickens loaded with some awesome helpers today! It’s not the prettiest job in the world; but we dialed in and got it done. I love this job, I love this life and pushing the limits of what we can achieve, together as a family. We want to be a family that doesn’t shy away from honest hard work. We want to be a family that has integrity in all that we do. We want to be a family that leaves a legacy of healing and regeneration. God keep us humble with love overflowing. #regenerativeagriculture #familyfarming
