21.01.2022 Ready for a furniture painting tip that will blow your mind? Here it is You only need to apply a primer to furniture if you've got a wood that is prone to bleeding (typically mahogany and Indonesian timber species) - then you apply a product like Polyseal as pictured. If you start and get some bleed-through, spot block with the Polyseal and carry on. Otherwise, you apply chalk paint straight away!
