17.01.2022 Only 3 weeks to the Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival! How's your nutrition looking? While now may not be the time to try to drop that last 3kg you wanted to lose before the race, there are still some potential gains to be had through looking after your nutrition for these few weeks, and planning what you're going to consume on race day. Fuel your last few tough training sessions appropriately... Promote full recovery and adaptation before race day Fuel appropriately to manage body composition Support your immune system Time is short, but it isn't too late to plan and do a little practice for eating on race day - for energy and comfort One simple idea to work towards all of these goals: Try finishing October sober. (And if you want to celebrate having done that, probably best you leave it till Nov 3rd.)



10.01.2022 Corey Ander and I are not friends. Everyone else seems to love him. They love to tell me how amazing he is. They can't believe I don't like him. I used to find that if I came across him at a social outing there may as well have been no one else there, or like there was a room full of Corey Anders. We started running into each other more frequently, so I decided a while back that I would practise tolerating him in small doses. I'm still not a fan but at least I find him slightly less obtrusive now. True story. OK, metaphor of a true story. Apologies to anyone actually named Corey Ander.
