22.01.2022 GRABHAM JOINS HUSQVARNA OFF-ROAD TEAM Husqvarna Australia is excited to announce a new-look off-road squad entering 2017, with changes to several key positions.... The familiar Grabham name will be added to the rider line-up, with Broc Grabham promoted from Husqvarnas support team ranks to its factory team, on the back of numerous barn-storming results at the back-end of the last AORC season. The rising Bathurst charger showed hes got a whole lot more than a surname behind him when he finished on the podium in last years AORC E2 Championship, and seventh outright in a year where his goal was just to crack the top ten. Hell return this year aboard his favoured Husqvarna FE450 in the E2 category, alongside another familiar name, with Lachy Stanford taking over the lead rider position in his fourth year with the Husqvarna team. The lanky throttle twister from Byron Bay made 2016 his most successful season ever when he finished the AORC 4th outright and second in E3 on his powerful FE501.At 25 years of age, and training harder than ever, hes primed to fight out for the 2017 title. Again, his weapon of choice will be the Husqvarna FE501, a machine perfectly suited to Stanfords silky smooth style. Keeping the whole show tied together, former motocross pro Christian Horwood will step up from the Head Technician role hes held for the last three years, to the Team Management role left vacant by Glenn Kearney. Husqvarna Australia will soon announce its support riders across all disciplines, including off-road racing. Ive had three great years working alongside Glenn, and being the professional he is, hes been a really good mentor. Ive learned a lot about the way he runs things and as hes right next door now its made the transition a lot easier. With Brocs famous surname its fantastic to have him on board. He came on really strong towards the back end of 2016 and showed his potential with some top three times, so its fantastic to see how the Husqvarna support riders - including Lyndon with KTM - have gone on to factory rides. Brocs easy to get along with and very appreciative of this level of support and Im excited to be working with him. This will be Lachys fourth year with us and if he makes the same gains as he did last year, I really believe hes a title contender. Ive always believed in his ability. Lachy Stanford (FE501): Definitely happy to be a part of the Husqvarna Enduro Team this year, its great to work with Christian again he and I have worked together since the beginning. Hes going to step up into the role of managing this year so it will be good. With the AORC and the Four-Day this year Im definitely going in hard and well definitely be in with a fighting chance. Ive stepped up the training looking for any kind of cross-training advantage. Every day is just flat out doing something new. I never thought for a moment about changing from the 501. I really love being on that bike and it suits me so there was no question about it. Broc Grabham (FE450): There are no words to describe how excited I am to be in the factory team growing up Ive watched all my brothers do it at some point or another, so its good to have done enough to get that sort of support. I started doing a bit more last year and the results in competition came. Top-three at Monkerai gave me a lot of confidence - running with all those guys who are paid to do it was awesome! The 450 is a great all-round bike, and I prefer it because its not too big or too small I can throw it around nicely. Im excited to work with Christian and the great group of guys we have; its going to be very positive. The goal with every race is to go out there and win it, but I want to be in that top three all year. I know there will be a lot of quick guys, but Ill do my best.

Husqvarna Australia has announced 21 Factory Support rides for season 2017, across motocross and junior motocross, off-road, desert and dirt track disciplines, as well as the host of dealers in the Husqvarna Dealer Support program who have agreed to provide the critical developmental pathway as riders pursue their dreams of a factory ride. WILSON IMPRESSES WITH A FIFTH IN 450, DAVALOS BATTLES TO SEVENTH IN 250 The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing te...am had a great day at the Arlington Supercross on Saturday, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas - the sixth round of the AMA Supercross Series. While Martin Davalos put in hard work to overcome an early-race incident in the 250SX West class, teammates Jason Anderson and Dean Wilson had amazing rides and finished third and fifth, respectively, in the 450 class. Jason Anderson was fifth at the start of his heat and was holding strong until he collided with a crashing Malcolm Stewart causing his bike to fly off the track. This took him out of the race and forced him to line up for the 450 semi. He started eighth in the semi and put his focus on chasing down riders to put him in a transfer position. He was all over Jimmy Albertson in the fourth lap before making the pass stick and nabbing the final transfer spot. He then set his sights on Vince Friese and made a close pass high on the berm for fourth where he finished. Anderson had a decent start in the 450 main before the red flag came out, forcing a restart. He got a mid-pack start and was in 7th by the end of the first lap. He made the pass for sixth and continued to charge. He made his way into podium territory after multiple riders had issues and held his ground to the finish, eventually finishing third.
