This quieter period has provided longer work windows, which has enabled Fulton Hogan to complete the p...roject in a shorter time frame Despite some wet weather interruption, we're pleased to report the Cairns Airport Runway Overlay project is progressing ahead of schedule. The final section at the southern end of the runway is set to be completed this week. The asphalt will continue to cure until early July when Fulton Hogan return to commence the grooving. The nearing completion of this $18 million project could not have been timed more perfectly with the recent lifting of intrastate travel restrictions. Check out some behind the scenes action below
