25.01.2022 WOW! Weve just received an unexpected call from Sandgate Kindy who recently hosted a fundraising day (unbeknownst to us). Several charitable groups were put to the children for a vote on who theyd like to receive the monies raised ... and they chose "Fun For All"!!! Thanks Sandgate Kindy kids - we are incredibly grateful for your donation and hope youll join us for the opening ceremony of the all-abilities all-inclusive waterfront playground next month - its going to be lots of fun :)
24.01.2022 TODAY the "Fun For All" team are excited to announce that the local campaign for all-abilties playground equipment to be installed in our bayside will continue in 2017! 23.01.2022 We are looking for ideas to make the "opening ceremony" of Sandgates first all-abilities all-inclusive carousel a fun and exciting occasion for local families ... what would YOU like to see at this event? This will be a significant community milestone as its one that many baysiders have contributed to - so we encourage and welcome your ideas, suggestions and input of how best we can celebrate this special occasion!
23.01.2022 And the finishing touches are now complete ... the official "Fun For All" signage was added to Sandgates first all-abilities all-inclusive carousel this morning. It was so heartwarming to visit the playground yesterday and see a total of 11 kids squeezed on and happily spinning around having fun together ... including a sweet young girl in a wheelchair who seemed to have made quite a few new friends :)

Full credit to the dedicated workers doing a labour-intensive job in this heatwave ... well pop down soon with some chilled beverages for these awesome guys :)

Weve been working hard and fundraising all year for this ... THANK YOU baysiders for helping to make it happen ... words just dont seem enough. What a great early Christmas present for local families :)

14.01.2022 On this day - International Day of People with a Disability (www.IDPWD.com.au) - our bayside community officially opened the first piece of all-abilities all-inclusive playground equipment on the Sandgate waterfront parklands. A memorable milestone for 4017ers.

And in this, the final edition for 2016, hes once again featured an update on our project and tomorrows Opening Ceremony. Our team were so excited and grateful to be involved ... On that note, we can proudly announce that over $5,000 was raised for the installation of all-abilities all-inclusive playground equipment right here on the Sandgate foreshore. THANK YOU to all the guests, organisers, sponsors and volunteers who participated in such an amazing event ... you have played a significant role in helping kids with severe illness and disability - be kids again :)

08.01.2022 The rubber soft-fall surrounds have been poured and are setting rapidly thanks to this hot weather! Two activity panels have been installed this morning aswell ... lots of fun to be had in Sandgates Arthur Davis Park ... for the young, the young at heart and those of ALL abilities :) The safety fencing will be removed tomorrow just in time for the Open Ceremony at 3pm!!

03.01.2022 On Sunday 3rd December (coincidentally International Day of People with a Disability www.IDPWD.com.au), we officially opened the baysides first all-abilities all-inclusive playground piece on the Sandgate waterfront parklands. THANKS goes to our amazing 4017 community for helping to raise the $55,000 required to see this project come to life last year, just in time for Christmas. A memorable milestone for our village. It was wondeful to see the carousel being used over the holiday season by the young (and the young at heart) ... all of varying physical abilities.
