02.01.2022 The Australian Stuttering Research Centre (ASRC) has released the new recommendation to treat stuttering as soon as it is diagnosed. Previously, speech patholog...ists would recommend waiting about 6 months to see if your child recovered spontaneously. However, the natural recovery rate during the first 18 months is thought to be only 6-8%. As we are unable to predict whether your child will recover naturally, without intervention, the ASRC now recommends commencing therapy with an evidence-based treatment program as soon as possible. If you think your child is stuttering, please get in touch to discuss appropriate therapy options. If youre unsure whether your child is stuttering, or just "thinking" while they speak, we can help you to differentiate. We are happy to answer your questions about stuttering. Get in touch today!

02.01.2022 Pleased to say that our phone line is functional again! Thanks Exetel
