12.01.2022 Only over the past couple of months have I gained perspective from someone I look up to her on the GC a mentor of mine, on the importance of flexibility, stretching and the ability to stay functional throughout all forms of exercise. Along with other evidence based reasons, the increase of flexibility and functionality allows for the activation of joints and skeletal muscles to occur without compensation of surrounding structures, which can often lead to injury.
