We acknowledge the severity of the COVID-19 crisis and would like to stress the importance of staying healthy and active in the safest manner possible. At FunctionFit Clinics we take the health and safety of our patients, staff and the local community very seriously.... As the situation evolves day by day, we would like to update our patients on the proactive measures we are taking, which are closely in line with the recommendations set by the Department of Health. The goal of these actions are to minimise risk of infection spread. We understand that these proactive measures may seem inconvenient, but the way we are living is changing and by adopting these changes, we can continue to deliver quality healthcare without compromising the safety of your health. - Symptom restrictions: We kindly ask that you notify our Reception if you currently have any cold or flu like symptoms. We will ensure that you get rescheduled as soon as possible once you have been cleared. - Patient only policy: Where possible, we request that only the patient be present in our clinic. There will be exceptions made if you require assistance or if your children need to come to appointments with you. - Patients to practise social distancing: We have positioned the waiting room in a layout where we can maintain social distancing. If there is no space in the waiting room or if you feel uncomfortable, feel free to wait in your car and we will call you once we are ready for you. - Good hand hygiene: We ask that you sanitise your hands when you enter into our clinic and when you leave the clinic. Our staff practises good hygiene by sanitising our hands and surfaces that have been in contact with other patients frequently. Together, we can keep our families, friends and loved ones safe. The COVID-19 Helpdesk has recommended to healthcare practitioners to utilise gloves, masks, gowns and goggles if personal contact is required. These practices are in place to help protect you and our practitioners, as well as minimising risk of spread. We recommend that you wear a mask when attending your appointment.
