24.01.2022 In times like this, it's important to check in and see if everyone around you is ok. As a live streaming service, our main aim has always been to provide closure to family members who weren't able to be physically present. And in this strange time, with social distancing, we are seeing an overwhelming number of families, choose live streaming as an option, allowing vulnerable family members and friends, to be a part of the service. We are choosing to continue to work during this time to provide you with live streaming services while taking all precautions. We will continue to stand by families, working closely with all Funeral Directors to make sure you never have to miss saying goodbye.

23.01.2022 With Scott Morrison's announcement last night about a maximum of 10 people allowed at a funeral, we are extremely grateful to be seeing such decisive action from our Funeral Directors who are trying their best to do all they can for the family. We are providing a number of services at this time to help families with private, secure webpages set up for viewing the service remotely. - Live Streaming from any chapel or outside venue... - Recordings uploaded onto a webpage for easy view by the family across the world - In house chapel setups allowing you to provide the service to families yourselves. We are now working all 7 days to make sure you don't have to miss saying goodbye. Visit us at https://bit.ly/funeralwebcast for more information

18.01.2022 Funerals 'could be streamed online' if COVID-19 becomes pandemic ( National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD)) "As well as supporting the government and local authorities in managing the impact, funeral directors would be focused on helping families who lose a loved one during that time in finding meaningful ways to say goodbye - even if the funeral they would have preferred isn't possible. "One option might include the webcasting of funeral services, as many crematoria... now have these facilities - or holding a separate memorial service at a later date." https://news.sky.com//coronavirus-funerals-could-be-stream

17.01.2022 Here at Funeralcast, we hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. Tomorrow is ANZAC Day and this year the day will bring extra difficulty by not being able to stand together at dawn. However, we are all being encouraged to take a moment tomorrow morning, to remember those who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. ... We will honour all those who have served and continue to serve our wonderful country, from our own homes. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. #lightupthedawn #ANZACspirit

17.01.2022 Live streaming on-site where our videographer discreetly captures the entire service, as well as provide a recording of it to be viewed later. Our onsite service allows us to provide live streaming options out of chapels, churches, halls, and wherever else a funeral or memorial service may be held, making sure each moment is captured. www.funeralcast.com.au

16.01.2022 No industry in this day and age is safe from disruption and that includes the funeral industry. It will be very interesting to see how Picaluna grows and changes our landscape. https://www.smartcompany.com.au//uber-for-funerals-sydney/

11.01.2022 Another busy Friday for Funeralcast. We brought seven families closer together from around the world to farewell their loved one. We live streamed to more than 2,590 viewers in total, from 6 locations around Australia. With Covid-19 still providing a barrier to grieving families, Funeralcast will continue to be the most experienced provider of online funeral services in Australia.

09.01.2022 A cordoned off church today made us feel a deep sense of gratitude and one that we have felt every time we do a live stream webcast. - Gratitude that we can do this for families - Gratitude that we can provide a sense of closure - Gratitude that we can provide a service that helps in a time like this... Let's pause for a moment in time and remember what we are grateful about today.

05.01.2022 How gorgeous is my poppy that the amazing ladies at the Botany Bay Family History Society crochet and are selling here at the Woronora Memorial ParkOpen day.

05.01.2022 Thank you so much for recently conducting my Pops funeral via live cast. My grandfather left a legacy of 6 children, 28 grandchildren, 45+ great-grandchildren a...nd 1 great-great grandchild. Whilst we were unable to be together physically as a family due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were still able to watch the funeral take place via livecast. Over 100 of my Pops family and friends watched in their homes and it was great to be a part of celebrating his life. Highly recommend Scott and Avani who are complete professionals and very experienced in what they do. They helped us in many ways during the planning process and everything we needed was done incredibly well. Thank you See more

04.01.2022 Streaming can happen from anywhere and anytime. Celebrating the life of a loved one and having memorials at unique locations, are quickly becoming the norm. The places and the connections are just a natural part of the celebration. And capturing that is what we love doing here at Funeralcast.
