20.01.2022 Wow, just listening to the rain falling heavily on the roof outside. It definitely seems that winter has arrived. What would I give during these strange times, to have a few mates gathered around this with a few cold beverages in hand. I'm so looking forward to when Covid restrictions are finally relaxed, and we can get back to catching up with friends and family, and living a normal life again.

13.01.2022 Well, my first expo as a stall holder has been a real learning experience. Getting out of my comfort zone and talking to complete strangers about what I do, and what I plan for the future to grow my product range, was a challenge to start with. Day 1 was very quiet, it was like a ghost town with what I could only assume probably less than 200 people walked through the main entrance all day. ... I questioned myself, why the hell do they even consider opening up on a Friday, it’s a working day for the majority of people? Day 2, was an improvement with a steady stream of people in attendance, gradually getting a little more interest in the fire pits. Today, day 3, was probably the busiest of them all. I was kept busy most of the day and became more confident as the day went on. Although there were no sales for the weekend, I’m confident that through taking the plunge and getting out in public, things will begin to gather momentum soon. A huge thanks to Danny, Hayden and Marcus for your help, it has been greatly appreciated. I’m looking forward to getting back into my shed and turning my ideas into reality real soon.

13.01.2022 What a very enjoyable night it was a couple Saturdays ago. Sitting back staring at the flames and glowing coals with a mate, over a few beers and a nice bottle of home brewed scotch whisky. It was so relaxing, time quickly disappeared, my supply of fire wood had been exhausted and before we knew it, it was already 2:15am and time for some sleep.... Definitely looking forward to the next opportunity for a fire night before the end of spring, although I'll need to replenish my fire wood before then.

12.01.2022 Thankyou, to one of my many valued clients, for sharing photos of her maiden fire pit experience. It was a special occasion for her in many ways. I am so happy for the unique effects which are possible from this design. Please feel free to share your own fire pit experiences, they will be most welcome, and will help to brighten up everyone's lives, given what we we are all dealing with right now.

12.01.2022 Made the most of today's weather to put another fire pit together, and also some last minute touch ups to this one which was finished just over a week ago. Looking forward to this going to its new owner soon. Now is the time to get your orders in, as interest for more fire pits are quickly building.

06.01.2022 A very warm welcome to all who have recently visited this page. Thankyou, and I hope you find some inspiring ideas from it. If you have any ideas and suggestions for your future fire pit, I'd love to hear from you. If you know someone who is handy with drawing, I'm looking at creating a logo and possibly business cards soon. I'd love to hear from anyone who can help. Please leave a message if you can, and I will try to respond quickly.... I hope that everyone is doing ok through these strange and uncertain times. Hopefully it will be over soon. I feel for the many people who have lost their jobs, it must be so distressing for them right now. I just hope that they are able to get the financial assistance they need from the relevant government agencies in a timely manner. This whole social distancing, awareness and practice has been quite challenging, especially in the workplace, where sometimes where you might need assistance from others to complete a task. I don't know how other people are dealing with it, but I'm thankful that at the moment, I still have ongoing work outside of making fire pits. Being at home with 2 young active boys can easily push my buttons, so to be able to get away from home for work purposes is quite a blessing. 03.01.2022 I’m proud to be donating this one off design fire pit for auction this Thursday night, at the Commercial Hotel, in support of men’s mental health group SA Brothers. If you’re interested and able to make it to this event, the weekly meetup will be upstairs from 6:30pm. I’d love to see you there.
