24.01.2022 We have just finished day 3 of School Holiday workshops and we are LOVING being back (temporarily - still no go for parties). The energy and excitement from both the kids and staff is better than ever and its truely heart warming seeing so many happy faces. I have just come to the realisation that I had run EXACTLY 50 School Holiday programs, in a row, before missing April 2020 due to COVID19, yes that right every School Holidays since September 2007! After such a long time It feels like home, creating, laughing and getting to know each child who walks through our doors. Thank you to everyone who is supporting us this School Holiday, we are so very appreciative! I would also like to thank @rainbowbraidsbyfran&ali for their awesome work today. 24.01.2022 JULY 2020 SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS We are so excited to announce that we have got the go ahead to run our JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM BOOK NOW - COVID19 procedures mean our spots are very limited head to http://www.funkyplanet.com.au/classes/ to book. We are not taking phone bookings at this time, however our clever booking system is easy to use with a step by step "How to Book Guide" and you can even pay with your CREATIVE KIDS voucher... We will be amending some of our usual workshop processes to meet the COVID19 guidelines. Distancing procedures and additional cleaning / sanitising will be in place. We will only be accepting full day bookings for July workshops to ensure that our focus is on maintaining these standards throughout the day. We will be conducting a drop off / pick up facility from our front door when signing in/out, no parents are permitted to enter the premises under any circumstances. Each child will be required to bring their own drink bottle, we will still provide food that will be served by our staff.

18.01.2022 At Home CRAFTY KIT Update It was a busy morning at Funky Planet but oh so quite considering its Saturday, prime party day Check out the video for a sneak peak of what I have put together. I have created 2 boys options and 2 girls options suitable for 4-10 years however younger or older may also enjoy depending on their interests. I have tried to select activities that may need a little parent help to set up but will generally be an activity that the children can navigate on... their own. Depending on the child's age or ability, parent assistance my be required or if you are an OCD Mum crafter like me, you may want to give some "advise" and "help" lol. Cost $49.95 each and will come with all items required. Each kit includes hours of crafty fun and 10 individual crafty projects plus, stickers, embellishments, 3 sand colours, 3 paint colours and paint brush We hope you love what we have put together, feel free to message or comment with any feedback. 12.01.2022 PARTY BOOKING UPDATE... We have spoken to NSW Services (again) regarding Funky Planet re opening for Birthday parties. They have advised that we fall under the entertainment category and that we are required to remain closed for Birthday parties until the COVID19 safety plan for entertainment is released on 1st July. Once this is released we will be able to asses the regulations specific to our business and see if its possible to implement them during the running of our parti...es. We are advising all customers wanting to make a party booking to send through their booking form for via our website and we will pencil you in until we get the go ahead. 08.01.2022 Our phone has started ringing this week and this is the number 1 question I have been so excited to chat to customers who are eagerly awaiting our re open and thrilled that families are excited to celebrate their post COVID19 Birthday parties at Funky Planet. We unfortunately are not open yet. We are hearing lots of rules and information from the government, just like everyone else, regarding the re opening of businesses. We want to make sure that our decision to open ou...r doors again is safe and without much compromise. July School Holiday Workshops We are ready to release our July workshop timetable however, just like our parties, we want to make sure that this is the right decision. We are eagerly awaiting a clearer announcement from the government to give us a better indication of whether we will be able to welcome children to our next School Holiday Workshops, we are ready to go the second we know. 07.01.2022 Party and Workshop update 26th March - Following government guidelines Funky Planet has temporarily closed its doors. All parties up until 17th April 2020 have been contacted via emailed and we will be watching the ever changing update and contacting future parties as needed. We are very sorry to the families and most of all the Birthday Children who were looking forward to celebrating with their friends at Funky Planet. At this stage we are not hopeful for School Holiday W...orkshops going ahead as scheduled and will be contacting all current bookings directly via email over the coming days. We are again very sorry, we know that many parents were relying on our services to be able to attend their own work. We hope everyone is doing ok, its a tough time for everyone, especially the children who are adjusting to the new changes. This will be the first weekend (other than festive holidays) that Funky Planet have been closed in over 13 years . We are certainly going to miss our weekend of partying. 04.01.2022 Dear Customers, Taking in to consideration the up to date government social restrictions surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic we have decided to cancel all parties until the beginning of School Holidays at which time we will look at the current situation again. We are deeply sorry to have to inform you of this decision and know this will be very disappointing for the Birthday children and invited guests who were excited to celebrate at Funky Planet. As a small business this ...is going to be an extremely difficult time however, as always, our primary concern is the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff. Whilst our venue doors are temporarily closed, like many other businesses we are trying to think outside the box to continue to provide our service.
