05.01.2022 . We hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and 2019 is off to a positive start. Things certainly didn’t slow down for us at Funnel Bay, we have a number of exciting things in the pipeline. So, watch this space for further updates!... The team have put together a brief overview of what’s been happening lately for those who may have missed it. At there are five houses currently under construction and all are on schedule to be completed by October this year. These residences will be incorporated into the Yangaro Retreat, an executive retreat centre catering for executives of large corporations and multinational companies. A place they can re-energise themselves surrounded by a tropical paradise. The site will have a dedicated with yoga and exercise instructors, masseuses, plus games room and climbing wall. Yangaro Retreat will have a concierge and will be for the exclusive use of Funnel Bay residence and guests. More on the scheduled opening as we get closer to October. We are about to launch a marketing program into the Sydney and Melbourne market and anticipate a good response from both those capitals. In other developments, has seen three houses built with a fourth just started. There is only one remaining house site left and we anticipate this to be sold just after everyone gets back from holidays. The water front sites sold last year at have all titled and settled and these lots have all seen significant growth for their owners. (There is currently a waiting list for any of these lots if their owners ever wanted to sell). Things are all on schedule for the Six Star hotel and this is currently before council. Once approved, I believe this will be a huge boost to, not only Funnel Bay but the whole of the Airlie Beach region, giving world class accommodation to a world class tourist destination. Future developments will see additional, larger lots of land released with sea views and within walking distance of the beach and all associated restaurants and cafes of the hotel.
