22.01.2022 What can this do? It can save you spending $30 at the supermarket! It's a plant pot you can make from things you have at home (egg cartons are also great!) ...Add a handful of soil from the garden and you're ready to plant the seeds of your choice. Take your kids to buy the seeds - set them the challenge of finding seeds suited to your location and for planting at this time of the year - this information is usually on the packets. Fun + 'learning by stealth' as I like to call it See more

20.01.2022 MISSING FROM SOUTH PENRITH Hi all, We are missing our beloved Ragdoll Bonnie missing since Monday. If you find her please contact us

20.01.2022 Hi everyone!!! Just an update for those that are checking in about party availability :) At the moment we are unable to operate! To Facepaint 20 children, we would legally need to completely sterilise all our equipment/paints in between kids. As well as damaging/wasteful for our paints, it would also be very time consuming, and would take 2-3x the normal time (making it a very expensive party!) We have been waiting patiently for restrictions to ease, and still as yet havnt a... solid idea of when we can start operating. Id optimistically like to think that we can start again around August, however thats only a guess. The ponies are all having the biggest holiday of their lives and are thoroughly enjoying this virus business We hope to have a better idea of when we can start again, soon :) See more

05.01.2022 Hi everyone!!! Im putting a call out to ask for help! If anyone has a small local bakery that they visit or pass, could you please pop in and ask them what theyre doing with their old bread at the end of each day? Ive been calling all my local larger stores however the big stores seem to already have plans in place (charities) and the small stores dont have their numbers listed online. We are still very much in drought and its been estimated that its here till March a...t least There is a drastic shortage of hay at the moment, and any hay available is tripled in price (and we are all paying it!). If I can find as many bakeries as possible that would be willing to donate or sell cheaply, their stale bread each day, I could drive around and do a loop of picking it up every evening. Penrith, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Richmond, parramatta, hills, Lower mountains, and everywhere in between would be a great start for a driving loop! Bread isnt a healthy food source for animals at all, (it would be like giving your kids a box of doughnuts each day), however it will make the difference between being full and being hungry for them (mainly the horses and ponies, their tummies are designed to be constantly digesting, so they get health issues if they have empty bellies). Id also like to find a source of unsellable fruit and veg (much much healthier option than bread) but Im not sure where to start, it would have to be the stuff that hasnt made the cut for the shelves or the charities Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, or even if you know someone who would have an idea of where I could start looking Thankyou in advance! 05.01.2022 Today I received the most fantastically generous donation of fruits, veggies and bread from Hunter Hampers! This huge amount here, is only a few days worth! Hunter Hampers collects the unsold produce from stores, and feeds families around western Sydney that are doing it tough. Even still after all their hard work, they still have leftover for me Ill be able to collect more on a regular basis and hopefully put the waste to good use, the ponies are extra happy! If you have time to check their page out, please do so as theyre helping me so much! https://m.facebook.com/groups/1729092947209000
