17.01.2022 Do you guys remember 'string' mohair? This is how regular mohair looks before it is brushed out all fluffy and given it's final pile finish. Leaving it in the string-stage gives a really interesting texture to the pile, and is brilliant for dyeing (keep an eye out for some new hand-dyed mohair very shortly too ;)) We currently have a limited amount of this 52mm long ivory white string mohair available in store: https://furaddiction.myshopify.com//long-string-mohair-nat

15.01.2022 A little teaser of one of our new faux fur fabrics. We custom designed this one and didn’t know exactly how it would look. Unwrapping the packaging there were gasps of delight from all of us!! This fur is AMAZING!!

11.01.2022 We don’t like to toot our own horn, but our hand-painted glass eyes are one of the aspects of bear artistry that we are most proud of! The right pair of eyes can really make or break a creation. And we’re extra chuffed that we are able to make enough eyes to offer for sale for all of our fellow bear makers! 11.01.2022 We have been very busy over the last few days hand-dyeing many MANY pieces of mohair, alpaca and viscose! I hate wasting the dye, so all the gorgeous colours get tipped into one big pot at the end of each dye batch - and this is the resulting ‘magic’ colour. It’s nearly always a stunning dusky pink/purple, and this time is no exception! All of the hand-dyed fur fabric will be listed on our website this week. (It’s a BIG job!).

10.01.2022 Because this will be our second faux fur release in the last 6 months, we’re experiencing a little ‘naming fatigue’! So we’d love to hear your suggestions for these six brand new fabrics. And, as an added incentive to dig into the most creative corners of your mind - whoever comes up with the names we end up using for these new fabrics will win a FREE fat 1/8m piece of ANY faux fur in our store!

07.01.2022 I think I’m going to call the bottom piece ‘Ripe Mango’ The newly dyed mohair is drying and will be ready to list very soon! We have some flat colours (pot-dyed) and a small offering of our unique rainbow pieces too.

06.01.2022 It’s blowing a gale here today, which is super annoying when trying to take photos of faux fur! While it might mess up my attempts to nicely place the fabric, it looks pretty awesome blowing through the pile - especially on this gorgeous new tipped ‘Cherry Jam’ fur! ( (All the new fur should be available on our website later in the week, but we’ll let you know exactly when ).

01.01.2022 These cuties have just been completed over on our sister page Emma's Bears using our 'Lost Toys Collection' design. It's our most versatile and best value pattern on offer - giving you the options to create 5 different critters. For these three, we've used the same pattern shapes (a combination of 'the fox' and 'the panda'), but changed up the ear positions to give each bear his own look.
