20.01.2022 Meet Furphy and Foster!!! These two are so strong. Having no mum they have happily expected me as their mum. Furphy is very needy and Foster is so quiet. The boys are eating solids which is very lucky and they are also putting on weight These babies have a long journey ahead but I’m sure we will get there. #furkidsrescue #kittens_of_instagram

14.01.2022 9 kittens and 2 mummas washed and treated for ringworm, fleas and mites. The babies are looking so much better and I’m sure they feel a lot better. They were all so very calm while being washed which made things a lot easier. FurKids Kids now has four of these kittens in our care. Thank you to Kathryn Jayne Roberts for coming to this colonies rescue. Long, hard weeks to follow with treatment but they are alive and safe and that is what matters the most.

10.01.2022 It’s getting to that time of year where the brightly coloured, festive looking dog treats appear on the shelves. We again issue the warning we give every year a...nd beg you to avoid them for the safety of your dogs.......... With Christmas fast approaching and lots of new puppy owners we thought we would share this again, we know most of you know they are bad, but often people who don’t own dogs will buy your dog/puppy a present for Christmas and these look fun.... they are NOT! If you get any, bin them. DO NOT give them to your dogs or puppy’s. PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE SHOPS The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China. Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell. Then come the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes. They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog. Please be safe with your dogs! See more

09.01.2022 HOLD: The beautiful Femta is 10-11 weeks of age looking for her forever home. This girl has had it rough. She ended up with cat flu which has caused one of her eyes to be cloudy. Delta has been vet checked and the eye itself is fine. She will always have this cloudy eye and if she ever gets sick, it could cause more cloudiness in the eye. In a saying all this Delta has a clean bill of health and is a smooch and just loves her cuddles. A purr machine. Please message FurKids... answering the below questions. Name: Phone number: Location: Which kitten would you like to adopt? Reason for wanting to adopt a kitten: Home/ family life: Own house or rent? How many in your family? Adults/ ages: Children/ Ages: Are you financially stable? Current pets: Experience with kittens/ cats: Cats/ kittens must be indoors. Will you be able to provide this environment? RE101308
