24.01.2022 A rather interesting request to deconstruct four rings and combine into one retaining the special connections with each individual ring within a new configuration. So first pic is the four rings as presented. Second is the shanks with stones removed ready for fusing. The fused metals, Silver, 18ct gold and 9ct gold. There is still some of the fire scale on the metals which gives that milky look. Next pic reintroducing the gems, diamond, sapphires and Killiecrankie diamond. working out possibilities (going a bit rococo!) finally the finished ring.

23.01.2022 The Annual Christmas group exhibition is happening soon - due to open on Friday 27th November. Those who wish to contribute to the exhibition will need to drop items off from Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th before 12 noon. Please complete all the necessary paperwork and ensure your membership is up to date. Volunteering to sit in the gallery is preferred - a roster will be available to add your name.

18.01.2022 Summer Show opening tomorrow at 10.00 am. Lots of great works of art and crafts. Lots of uniquely crafted items for sale along local scenes in oils and water colour. Come in and check out the wildlife too.

11.01.2022 Coming up this Friday and continuing until 21 November. Maybe members could assist by sitting during opening times.

06.01.2022 Reminder to all those who are going to be exhibiting at the FCA Summer Show- items along with the relevant paperwork need to be in the gallery by 12 noon Wednesday 25th. If you need some assistance with completing the paperwork be there at 12 on Wednesday. Those exhibiting must be members of FCA - your assistance in sitting in the gallery would be also be appreciated.
