25.01.2022 Another project was started today, a vintage laundry hamper. A good clean and coat of paint and it will be up for sale.



25.01.2022 Finally progress today. There’s been so much time gone into the cleaning of this piece it was nice to be apply the paint. Happy with the look so far - Antique White with Hailstorm on the doors and drawers. Oh the blue in the picture is frog tape.

24.01.2022 Ready for a new home - these 2 lovely items. Kitchen dresser and a telephone table/seat.

24.01.2022 Took delivery of two display cabinets today. Will be a big transformation coming up. Stay tuned for updates



23.01.2022 Pick up a few more projects over the last couple of days. Night shift is sounding like a probability . A faux fireplace - can imagine an electric log heater setting it off Another side board and an antique dining table with 6 chairs all to be redone and repaired.

22.01.2022 We have completed this beautiful set of drawers. Such a solid piece of furniture that will last generations. Before and after pics

20.01.2022 Finished this upcycled table. Lovely pine table top mounted on Singer sewing machine legs.



20.01.2022 Dresser completed and it looks great even if I say so myself. Also have 2 of the dining chairs sanded. Good day’s work.

20.01.2022 So we’ve made a start on the kitchen dresser. Primer is on will start with colour tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing it come back to life

18.01.2022 Busy day in the shed. We revamped our daughter’s wall unit. Removed the old cork board and replaced it with a white board also painted it in Aged Grey to blend with the wall on which it will hang. Also the writing bureau doors have been repaired and the sanding has started.

17.01.2022 The hall/entry table is complete. Ready to look amazing in its new home.

16.01.2022 The wall hanging is almost finished. There’s a cork board for pinning photos or memos, a white board for messages. Still have to add pictures to the top, shelf on top and hooks. It will be up for sale in the next few days. Message me if your interested in purchasing.



15.01.2022 Progressing well today. The dresser painting is done and we’ve place the ripple glass in the top doors and mesh back on the sides. Veneer is cut and ready to be glued on the door fronts of the writing bureau and I just had to sand a small section to see what was hidden underneath the yucky old varnish - Silky Oak - my favourite

15.01.2022 Retro noticeboard complete - ready to place up for sale. Amazing what you can do with an window frame from an old Queenslander.

14.01.2022 Sanding complete. Now to varnish and look like new

14.01.2022 First coat of varnish on the writing bureau. Also started a new project - display case. One draw has been cleaned, way to go yet.

05.01.2022 We’ve put in a good days work today. Dresser has had 2 coats of varnish. Silky oak table taken apart and sanded back.

04.01.2022 Happy with the way the doors came up considering the damage to them. A final coat of varnish and it will be finished and ready to be useful again.

02.01.2022 New day - new project. Antique writing bureau in need of a lot of TLC. Veneer has come off one door and bits broken off the other. Watch us work our magic on this beauty.

01.01.2022 First coat of varnish on this entry/hall table. Just need to find a lovely knob for the drawer to complement.
