16.01.2022 One thing in life is for sure, the sanding of old weatherboards doesn’t getting any more enjoyable over the 40 odd years of doing it. But you have to put the hard yards in to produce the finished results with painting, it’s all about the preparation. 40 Grit Flap Disc sanding followed by a primer undercoat Taubmans oil based Prep Coat and then two coats of Dulux Weathershield Semi-Gloss Acrylic.... Eves and Fascia have been finished in Lexicon White (Half Strength) and the gutter is in Monument (ColourBond) Walls have been finished in a Dulux colour called Accord the end result in a cool/soft colour scheme that’s suits the old beach cottage to a tee.
05.01.2022 Beach Babe # 1, our home on Bribie has been transformed from Modern Mexican to Hampton's. Cate has done an amazing job on the decor and furnishings that have fully complemented the reworking of this beach-side property.
