25.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. We hope that everybody's holidays are filled with festivities and plenty of merry enjoyment.
24.01.2022 Cool Night Photo Trick Light trails are a classic night photography technique. Use a slow exposure to paint a moving light source - whether thats a cars headlights or fireworks. Lock the camera on a tripod ensuring a sharp image and time your shots to record the maximum amount of streaks.
23.01.2022 Night Photography Pro-Tip Night photography is a great way to shoot a city scape, it is recommended to shoot of a tripod to allow you to use a low ISO setting (50-400 iso) to help reduce noise, this also allows you to use a slower shutter speed and get the most out of your sensors dynamic range
23.01.2022 This year to Movie World Frighnights has been taken to an new level. We were tasked with the job of developing a range of images that look to be shot in an abandoned hospital. We used a tile laminate for the background and borrowed some equipment from first aid to give it a more authentic feel.
23.01.2022 Wishing Everyone a Great, Prosperous, Blissful, Healthy, Bright, Delightful, Energetic and Extremely Happy New Year! HAPPY 2015!!!
20.01.2022 Last year we created a Christmas card for the Village Roadshow Group's christmas geetings, it was a fun shoot having most of the cast of Australian Outback Spectacular dressed in their christmas outfits.
19.01.2022 Some more images to promote the SWR lifestyle.
19.01.2022 Like Taking Pictures of the sunset? Shooting landscapes just after sunset delivers spectacular results, the sky has a blue/orange glow to it and this also allows you to shoot with a slower shutter speed and capture all the city lights in the photo.
19.01.2022 Christmas is always a good time to get family and friends together for lunch and SWR has one of the best buffets on the Gold Coast.
19.01.2022 The Village Bean drink range is always changing. Love shooting these as we can get as creative as we please, whilst keeping within the Village Bean brand. http://www.fusion-media.com.au/
19.01.2022 We featured The Evil Within at Movie Worlds Fright Nights. It was a world first to have a game developer link in with a Theme Park maze. The Game developer loved the images so much they used them for their marketing campaign. Check out the video that was created to promote Fright Nights 2014. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnamFAVb3HE
17.01.2022 Using Light to Accentuate Your Photos Painting light is a popular technique where you use either a flash or a torch to highlight a particular part of the photograph. It can be used on everything from still life photos to sweeping landscapes. Lock you camera down use a remote release to keep the shutter held open while you illuminate the subject.
16.01.2022 SWR just updated their premium spa suites and they look awesome. We had the pleasure of showing them in their best light. http://www.fusion-media.com.au
16.01.2022 I had the pleasure of working with food stylist Lyndel Miller and Despina Papamanolis to create these beautiful images. The top down style of photography that was chosen worked well in presenting the range of food available. I used a large soft box on one side to give a nice even light, it was positioned low so we still had some shadows in the photo and a white bounce reflector on the other side to fill out all the harsh shadows.
15.01.2022 We developed a brand for the burger/food outlets for the theme parks and created updatable menu boards for all outlets. http://www.fusion-media.com.au/
12.01.2022 ***Photography Pro-Tip*** Wide angle, Standard lens or telephoto lens - what lens is best to use when shooting portraits? Wide angles are great when you want to shoot an environmental portrait and show a person with in a specific context.... Standard and telephoto lenses are a better choice when shooting the classic portrait and they will deliver a more natural-looking result with out the distortion that a wide-angle lens produces
12.01.2022 I had the pleasure of shooting most of the images for the new WetnWild site, here is a few samples of some of my favourites... check out the website. www.wetnwildsydney.com.au

10.01.2022 The buffet images on show at the front of the Sea World Resort restaurant.
09.01.2022 Portrait Photography Pro-Tip A shallow depth of field is important when shooting portraits and helps to create a dramatic image. If you're not confident in using the camera in manual mode, use the Aperture Priority mode. This gives you direct control over the aperture and allows the camera to adjust the shutter speed. Take extra care to focus on the eyes when working with a very shallow depth of field, if the eyes are out of focus the entire image will look blurry.
