19.01.2022 Day 15: of what we do Our volunteers work alongside young people who have a heart to help others their own age. This might be coming alongside them as they plan a daytrip, run a group activity for the first time or even a fundraising event to help their friends participate in a camp.

18.01.2022 Day 7: what does Fusion Bendigo do? Peer Leadership Training We believe that young people can make a real difference. You don't have to wait until you are older to make a positive contribution to our community. Every second Wednesday young people gather to be equipped in leading events, making social change and sharing their life in positive ways with other young people.

18.01.2022 DAY 3 of what does Fusion Bendigo do? PLAYGROUP On Tuesdays our fabulous volunteers Kim and Fee run a lovely playgroup for 0-6 year olds. It is warm, friendly and lots of fun. Playgroups are a great way for mums, dads and grandparents to connect and encourage each other.

16.01.2022 Wondering what the Families Course is all about? Parents are encouraged to reflect on their own parenting style and to build on the strengths they bring to their family life each day. The Families Course provides a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers to stop and consider their own values, hopes and dreams for their family and families around them. 14.01.2022 The morning after the close of the climb, we gathered to watch the sun rise on a new era for Uluru and the Anangu people. We've been staying with friends Brooke... Prentis, DUSTY FEET MOB and others, to foster experiences and dialogues that will help make our work with Aboriginal communities and young people life-giving. We watched with a renewed sense of hope, that many years of footsteps on the rock will be washed away as Australia begins to heal. The significance of the closing of the climb is that it's a symbol of Aboriginal voices being heard. Leroy Beachley of Red Spaces and Anangu guide Shirley Reid took us on a Mala walk later in the morning, and Leroy reminded us that the Anangu approach of educating tourists not to climb had been working. Until the announcement of the closure, very few visitors to Uluru had chosen to climb, because they'd engaged with culture and listened to the wishes of Anangu. As we walked around Uuru, we noticed a sense of peace and resolution in the air. That continued as we joined many other tourists watching the sun set on this first day of a healing land.

13.01.2022 DAY 9: of what does Fusion Bendigo do? DAYTRIPS Every couple of months young people attend day trips where they are challenged to work together in teams, overcome obstacles and reflect on their life and the person they want to become.

13.01.2022 DAY 4: of what does Fusion Bendigo do? Drop offs to Youth Groups We all know that the more positive networks a young person has the more likely they are to THRIVE. Thats why every Friday when our Drop in Centre closes we offer a free shuttle service to any youth group in the Bendigo Region.

12.01.2022 Day 14: of what we do. Each year we get together with others who are serving in the community around Australia and share ideas, resources and come together to creatively look at social change that is desperately needed in Australia. It was pretty inspiring to see the impact that small groups of friends are having all over the country :)

04.01.2022 During Session 2 of the Families Course: We look at Building Nurturing Skills. Research shows that children who have a warm loving relationship with the adults in their lives will be more resilient and better equipped for hard times. This session presents practical ways to help children feel loved, heard, valued and reach their potential.
