25.01.2022 The vicious circle of aging... As people age, they often lose muscle tone and are venerable to falls. Falls then add to their fear of falling again, and some are less likely to exercise after their accidents. This adds to their likelihood of experiencing further falls in the bathroom and toilet, which, according to statistics, are the most dangerous places for our elderly folk. Intervention with mobility assistance aids such as bathroom grabrails and toilet grab rails, is on...ly one way to assist. There are other items which can make use of the bathroom and toilet safer and easier for our amazing senior folk. Over Toilet aids, antislip coatings, ramps, handheld showers, Toilet Grabrails/bathroom grabrails and shower seats are a few of the strategies Fusion employ on a daily basis to assist our clients. An Occupational Therapist could assist you in selecting the correct strategies and elderly assistance devices to make the toilet and bathroom a safer place, and lower the chances of subsequent falls. 20.01.2022 if you can't get to our Play Doh drop off at Richmond Oval on Sunday 5th July, BumpStop Car Mods & Mentoring, located at Fusion Building & Maintenance, 20 Hobar...t St Richmond, have been collecting for our drive to obtain Play Doh products for Westmead Children's Hospital. Fusion Australia is a not-for-profit Christian Youth and Community organisation who has a deep and ongoing commitment to developing resilience in individual lives. They believe that young lives need a strong community around them, so they work alongside passionate people and networks from all over Australia on a variety of national and locally focused projects. Their support for the drive is appreciated as they are keen to donate a "boot full" of Play Doh for the brave young patients.

20.01.2022 We are on our way to filling this boot with Play-Doh to go to Hawkesbury Police Area Command for their Westmead Children’s Hospital Physio unit Play Doh drive. Please help us fill the boot by dropping Play Doh off into the contactless drop off point at our office 20 Hobart St Richmond. It needs to be new & commercially made. Let’s do it for the kids. Cut off to our office is the 2nd of July. Thanks for your help.

07.01.2022 This week we lost a colleague and a dear friend Neil (who some knew as Nevy) passed away earlier this week, very unexpectedly and to soon. We will miss Neil greatly. Neil was a humble man with a heart to serve others and has changed the life of so many for the better. Rest In Peace our friend. Say hello to Jesus for us. See you later mate.

03.01.2022 A message from our BumpStop Car Mods & Mentoring team. We currently have no kids in the program due to Covid, but we want to make good use of our time. Nigel and I came across the Hawkesbury Police Area Command Play Doh drive for the Pysio Therapy unit at Westmead Childrens hospital. We at Bumpstop appreciate the the great work the Police are doing and also the worthy cause of donating Play Doh to the childrens hospital. So we would like your help to fill the boot on the AU...-Boss with play do, we will then take it to the Police drop off on the 5th of July. You can drop the Play Doh off at Fusion Building & Maintenance at 20 Hobart St Richmond NSW week days between 9am and 4pm where we will have a contactless drop off point. The cut off date will be the 2nd of July. If you are a buisness in the local area and dont have time to drop it off send us a message and we can organise to pick it up from you.
