22.01.2022 Going through Year 12 in COVID-19 has been pretty weird, but I’m very thankful for having such good friends and family as a support network. Even when we couldn’t meet together in person I never felt isolated, and I think the power of relationships is what kept me calm amongst so much chaos.

13.01.2022 The Fusion Cafe, a social enterprise, provides a safe, welcoming space for the local community, serving quality coffee and food in the station precinct. Due to ...COVID-19, we’ve had to close the doors of the Fusion Cafe during this time. This enterprise helps provide the resources that enable Fusion's work with vulnerable young people and families to continue and aims to build a sense of community and connection with Mental Health Month activities, community arts projects and music nights. Help Fusion raise much needed funds to continue this support right now and into the future by donating to the FUSION FRONT YARD FUNDRAISER at https://frontyardfundraiser.gofundraise.com.au

13.01.2022 Hope you enjoy catching up on these reflections from our neighbours in Postcards From Home.

13.01.2022 We've all had to keep our distance and move through our streets in new ways. Perhaps you've observed something new about home life, work has changed or you've ...been able to rest more. Whatever your experience has been we'd be honoured if you shared it. Pick up a POSTCARD FROM HOME from the Fusion Cafe St Marys or Penrith, St Clair or St Marys libraries and share a thought about these times. Return it to the letterbox at one of those venues or post back to us. Once received the postcards will be digitally archived online. POSTCARDS FROM HOME is a Fusion Western Sydney initiative funded by Penrith Council Magnetic Places Grant. Faces of St Marys provided the opportunity to build skills in visual arts and Postcards from Home provided a space for local residents, students and those passing through St Marys and surrounding suburbs to share thoughts and experiences of recent months to help break down isolation. Both projects will be featured in a walking trail of interactive artworks which will ...transform the St Marys City Centre over three big nights from 22 to 24 October. Set to bring buildings and quiet corners to life, the event runs from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm in Coachman's Park and West Lane carpark, St Marys. Penrith Council has put measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our community at this event. For more information and details of the activations visit: penrith.city/magneticplaces
