17.01.2022 Great to have Igor drop by for a visit tonight. Garrett and Igor have been best mates since high school and it's funny that they now both run martial arts academies. Igor is a 4th Dan Taekwondo black belt who started teaching 20 years ago. He owns 5th Element Martial Arts in Warner, Brisbane. It is wonderful to share the art of jiu-jitsu with him.

17.01.2022 Wishing all of our Fusion families a very Merry Christmas! Thank you to our amazing and dedicated members, coaches, assistant coaches, mums, dads and grandparents of our juniors, sponsors and lastly all the other gyms for providing fighters for us to compete against. 2020 saw the grading of 5 black belts (now making a total of 9 Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belts!) and bringing home the Junior Middleweight Title belt for Jessie was an epic ending to our hugely successful year.... Even the forced closure of the gym due to covid turned out to be a blessing for which we are grateful. We were able to reflect on what we have achieved so far and reassess our goals, plan strategically going forward and take the time to break these down into definitive actions. Now that we are at the end of 2020 we would have to say this has actually been our best year ever! Exciting improvements are scheduled for 2021. Some BIG changes, all of which will continue to see Fusion lead with the highest levels of integrity and quality of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai in Cairns and Far North Queensland. We have a great community and a strong team on board with Garrett leading the BJJ, Paul leading our Muay Thai takeover and Frankie doing an outstanding job in her gym coordinator role with Jeska guiding from behind the scenes. We look forward to sharing your journey with all of you in 2021. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!
