25.01.2022 FUSPA are excited to announce that the Australian Medical Students Association (AMSA) has invited Flinders University Paramedic Science students to attend this years AMSA National Convention! What is the AMSA convention? The AMSA National Convention is the largest student-run conference in the world and traditionally brings together over 800+ medical students from across Australia and New Zealand for a week of world-class academic plenaries, workshops, socials and more! ... Due to COVID-19 this years event has been changed from a national event to a South Australian event, running from Friday the 2nd of July to Sunday the 4th. This year’s event is planned to include 2.5 days of Academics, 0.5 days of Sports, 2 Social Nights and 1 Gala Night. If you are interested in attending or learning more about the convention and how you can attend, follow the link below to the Facebook group where all updates are posted. They have given us the option of having them in black instead and will allow us to limit the delay in getting them out. 15.01.2022 For Current 2019 3rd Year students Regretfully we have just been advised that tomorrow is now been classed as a total fire ban in Belair which means we will no longer be able to operate the BBQ equipment. As we are also facing a possible late storm we have decided to make a few adjustments to the program.... 1. We will now be going straight through until 1300 without a lunch break. 2. At 1300 we will have a debrief (cutting the day 1 scenario short) 3. Please bring a packed lunch or snacks. There is not shop within the park - Blackwood closest. This is regretful but unfortunately something we have no control over.
