17.01.2022 Let's face it salads can be tricky for fussy eating children! What's with all the green stuff (also called beans!) and the fennel (very much an acquired taste!). You may notice that I added some sausage, just straight off the bbq so it is warm! Now hopefully:... your child is interested to pick some of the sausage. your child is watching you model eating as you mix food in your mouth -quite the flavour making apparatus! your meal includes a liked food/dish as well! Constant modelling and exposure are key to raising a confident eater. 09.01.2022 Many extreme fussy eaters are described as stubborn by their parents. RIgidity is such that parents feel under massive pressure: any change and the food risk being dropped, too many repetitive servings and the food is dropped.... a catch 22 really that is hard to manage. One thing you can work on is to increase flexibilty, rotating all of your children accepted range, for example at school it would be to rotate vegemite sandwich with other type of sandwiches or savoury pastries, or else you child can accept! 09.01.2022 Ready to join the international Pediatric Feeding Disorder, except of course it's happening at eastern time, during the night and there is limited time to catch up with recordings during...this week-end! Yeah! you have to love what you do!
