A course for Agriculture, Food Technology, Design Teachers and Career Advisors. 6 hours of NESA Registered PD... Venue: Fletchers International Exports, Lot 11 Yarrandale Road, Dubbo, NSW 2830 Australia Date & Time: August 26th 8.45am 4pm https://www.colliver.com.au/training Course details: A one-day event designed especially for those who are new to project-based learning using a paddock to plate, food solutions and careers focus. Teachers will develop knowledge and understandings about PBL, and they will use and take away easy practical curriculum examples to use in the classroom aligned to the new NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum, Technology Mandatory. Included is a site visit to the Meat Processing and Food Solutions facilities within Fletchers International Exports and a lunch hosted by Fletchers International Exports. Angela Colliver Consulting Services is endorsed to provide NESA Registered Professional Development (PD) for teachers accredited at the Proficient Teacher level. Completing the course will contribute 6 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing the following standard descriptors 6.2.2, 2.1.2, 2.2.2, 2.3.2, 2.4.2, 6.1.2, 3.1.2, 3.2.2, 3.3.2 and 3.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
