23.01.2022 Begin tonight, take charge of your story! I don't set New Years' resolutions anymore, it is too hard to keep up! What cimmitment can we give somehting that we say at midnight once a year? Setting goals to challenge yourself, to make you feel a little fearful and excited all at once takes time. It is not a quick look in the mirror to say I need to lose weight, or waking up tomorrow with a sore head and commiting to "never doing it again". It is taking time for you, to give you...rself the respect to truly think about what you want to achieve in the coming year. Is it financial freedom, good health, a happy family, learning a new skill? Take the time to sit and challenge yourself. You won't regret it. 18.01.2022 Have you ever thought: I’m fat. I’m old. I’m not enough. I was young once. To all my female friends from 40 years and up: Most of us are going through the next phase of our lives. We’re at that age where we see wrinkles, grey hair, and extra kilos. We see the cute 25-year-olds and reminisce. But we were also 25, just as they will one day be our age. We aren’t the girls in their summer clothes anymore. What they bring to the table with their youth and zest, we bring... our wisdom and experience. We have raised families, run households, paid the bills, dealt with disease, sadness, and everything else life has assigned us. Some of us have lost those who were nearest and dearest to us. We are survivors. We are warriors in the quiet. We are women, like a classic car or a fine wine. Even if our bodies aren’t what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage, and our strength. We shall all enter this chapter of our lives with humility, grace, and pride over everything we have been through, and we should never feel bad about getting older. 16.01.2022 The start of a new day. So still and perfect. How do you start your day? Today I started with a walk and a coffee by the river, so blessed. I am taking time to be with my darling daughter before her last year of school starts in 4 days. I am so lucky to be able to do this. What are you doing for yourself this weekend? What do you have planned just for you?... Remember you are important and valued and if your cup is empty how can you be the best version of you?
