Vector graphics are made up of lines and curves known as paths and are dictated by mathematical formulas. Vector graphics such as pdf, eps or ai are able to be enlarged limitlessly and are great for printing jobs, posters, banners, billboards, shop signage, etc. Raster graphics such as jpg, png or gif are made up of different colour pixels which come together to make up an ima...ge. When enlarged the quality of a raster graphic decreases due to the pixels being stretched.
