Please fill in the Jotform using the link to the FV Futsal page: https://www.victoriafutsalleague.com.au//general-informati The AGS Program has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19, so an open trial process will take place. The normal ten week training program may also be impacted. Coaching positions may be limited due to the amount of teams that go on tour, so preference will be given to those Coaches and Team Managers who are actively involved in the FV Futsal club scene. More details will be released as soon as the tournament details have been confirmed.

23.01.2022 MEMO - State Club Futsal Championships Due to the recent developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic here in Victoria, the State Club Futsal Championships will be postponed to a later date. This decision is based on the state governments declaration of intent in dealing with this medical crisis and with the additional best medical advice that we have received.... Everyones safety is paramount in our decision and we believe postponing the event is the best outcome. We are looking at alternative dates to hold the 2020 edition of the event. 21.01.2022 MEMO - STATE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS - COVID -19. Update - Thursday July 9 Given the ever changing situation in Victoria, re the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the State Club Championships has been cancelled for this year.... After consultation with various stakeholders and venue managers, we think that this is the best option. Many futsal clubs will be impacted by player availability and an array of other issues in September. Having said that, we are looking at hosting a smaller tournament over Melbourne Cup weekend, but only if the situation at that time permits us to do so. More details on the tournament will be sent out after the lock down ends to all of the clubs officials. The 2020 Premier League is still scheduled to go ahead in October, but again, only if the situation permits us to do so. In the meantime, please Keep Safe! 19.01.2022 Congratulations to FV Futsal's Technical Director, Sam Mlynarz, who has been officially notified that he has passed his AFC Coaching Certificate Level 3 course. Sam flew to Hong Kong in late 2019 to participate in the grueling two week course, against the back drop of riots on the streets, near where the course was being conducted. Fourteen hour days were the norm for Sam, as he went through the theory and practical modules with AFC Instructors Mr. Tsang Wai Chung and Mr. ...Shahab Sofalmanesh. Sam was the only Australian on the course, but delivering the fitness component was another Australian, Miles Downie, who is based in Sydney. Upon arriving back in Australia, Sam said "It was one of the most challenging and demanding courses I have done, but well worth it". We are all looking forward to hearing about Sam's overseas experience and the new futsal courses that are being planned for 2021.

Media Onflow Media will be covering this years State Club Championships at Caroline Springs. Onflow Media Director, Alek Mitrevski, said his team are looking forward to the State Club Championships; "We will be adding new elements to the presentation of the games this year, which will make it more interesting to watch for everybody". Onflow Media live streamed last years mens event and Grand Final Day of the Premier League. More details regarding live streaming times will be released closer to the start of the tournament. Upon the recommendation of a respiratory specialist, all players are continually undergoing a peak flow meter test which measures their lung capacity. This additional screening reiterates our commitment to the overall wellbeing and safety of our futsal players.

09.01.2022 The Victorian Government is extending its support to ensure the lifeblood of grassroots community sports, including local clubs, associations and leagues, continue to survive and thrive. Applications are now open for a third round of the Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package, with clubs able to apply for $1,500 and associations and leagues able to apply for $2,500.

Reigning Champions, Vic Vipers will be back to defend their title in the Mens. Who can stop them? In the Womens, its all new, as this is the first time the Open Womens will be played. Both divisions will be live streamed by Onflow Media.

05.01.2022 Premier League Futsal Outdoors Due to the Covid-19 restrictions currently placed upon indoor sports, the annual term 4 Victoria Futsal League’s Premier League, will be played outdoor at the Knox Regional Football Centre. With various age groups for boys and girls, from sub juniors to U18s, all matches will be played on Saturday afternoons and commences on Saturday November 21 and conclude on Saturday December 19. Futsal balls will be used and matches will be played under mo...dified Futsal rules. Matches will be 2 x 20 minute halves and there will be two matches, per team, per Saturday. There are various age groups for boys and girls, from sub juniors to 18s.
