10.01.2022 Staff Update Welcome on board Kym Kym Kerr (nee Eckersley) has arrived back in her home town of Narrogin after spending the past 12 years farming with her husband Tom and their two son’s, Hamish (9) & Lewis (6), on their South Island sheep and beef farm in New Zealand. They were owner / operators of Tom’s family 900 acre farm near Queenstown. On their farm they ran 2400 mixed aged ewes Romney/Coopworth cross and approximately 150 Angus R1s. With rolling to steep contour, it... was a little different to the flatter plains of the Upper Great Southern! They have decided to return to WA after selling their farm at the beginning of 2020 and have purchased a home in Narrogin. It has been a long and tough year for Kym’s family and after numerous cancelled flights and a month long quarantine, they are excited about being back and immersing themselves into the local community. Kym’s family have a farm here in Narrogin and she was born & bred here. Kym left Narrogin in 2003 to start exploring the world but had returned intermittently before settling in NZ. Kym is excited about being part of our locally owned and operated FarmWorks team in Narrogin. She is also looking forward to reconnecting with locals and chatting about farming life. Kym has now taken over from Karen in the Sales Administration role. Please feel free to drop in and say G’day to her next time your in town.

10.01.2022 Staff Update Welcome Todd! Todd Hayes has made a return to FarmWorks Narrogin after 9 years.... Many will already know Todd from his previous 8 years working in the FarmWorks Narrogin business, during its early years before heading of Wongan Hills with Summit Fertilizers as an Area Manager for a couple years. This role helped him get a better understanding of plant and soil nutrition along with different technologies to improve gross margins in the cropping phase. Moving to Perth in 2014 Todd returned to Rural Merchandise as a Merchandise Manager and later a Branch manager in Midland and Balcatta stores. With the desire to a more country life for the family, Todd and his wife Claudia returned to the Narrogin district and set up in Cuballing back in 2017. Taking a role with Waratah Fencing as a Territory Sales Manager for the southern parts of Western Australia, covering a wide range of fencing solutions. The role had a big focus on Vermin exclusion fencing and he was involving some large conservation projects with crop protection a key topic. Todd is looking forward to reacquainting relationships with the FarmWorks Narrogin clients and the local community. Todd has joined the team as our Merchandise Manager in the store and will be out on-road supporting customers and the agronomy team.
