Watch will be available on mobile, on desktop and laptop, and in our TV apps. Shows are made up of episodes live or recorded and follow a theme or storyline. To help you keep up with the shows you follow, Watch has a Watchlist so you never miss out on the latest episodes ~ Facebook... What we think Given the vast amount of video uploaded to Facebook on the daily, it makes complete sense for Facebook to introduce a personalised video experience to enhance the overall user experience. How will this impact brands? Its not clear how this will have a *direct* impact on brands, but we think itll be interesting to see how Facebook uses data collected from show categories, shows watched etc. One key benefit that could come out of this is that users will be spending even more time on Facebook, meaning more opportunities for advertisers to get in front of their target audience. Creators will be given the opportunity to monetise their shows through Ad Breaks (currently in beta testing in the US) which means itll serve as a potential source of income (just like YouTube) and therefore creators will be encouraged to create even more content. When is Watch being released? Watch will be available to a limited group of users in the US. Naturally, as time goes on (and pending its success) it will be rolled out to the masses.
