07.01.2022 Skill Assessment is the approval of a industry body for you to migrate to Australia as a skilled migrant. The skill assessment is a requirement for most PR visas and most long term visas . If you are skilled and your occupation is on any list you should probably get a skill assessment to migrate to Australia, either on your own (points/invitation) or employer sponsorship. . Another visa that requires a skill assessment is the Graduate Visa, but for this one a skill... assessment doesn't usually require work experience. It is called a provisional skill assessment. . 05.01.2022 Travel is now permitted throughout all regions within WA. If you are from a state or territory deemed to be very low risk, you will be allowed to enter WA from Saturday, November 14 after completing a G2G Pass declaration. You will need to state you do not have any COVID-19 symptoms and declare which jurisdictions you have been in over the 14 days prior to your arrival in WA.... All travellers arriving at Perth Airport will undergo a health screening and temperature test on arrival. You must also be prepared to undertake a COVID-19 test at an airport clinic if deemed necessary. If you are arriving by land, you will be met at the border checkpoint for your health screening and have your G2G Pass declaration checked. If you are coming from New South Wales or Victoria, you will still need to self-quarantine for 14 days in a suitable approved premises, and present for a COVID-19 test on day 11. If you meet the exemption criteria, the quickest and simplest way to apply for an exemption to travel to WA is via the G2G PASS online form . If you are approved to enter WA and required to enter quarantine, you can download the G2G NOW app which enables WA Police to conduct quarantine compliance checks using facial recognition and mobile location data.
