15.01.2022 1950s EffanBee LOVUMS in new Handknit from fYREWORKSHOPS https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/VintagePatsyDolls Newly dressed in hand-knitted white vest, pants and royal blue romper suit using authentic 1950s Patons Knitting Book #R.21 baby patterns this lovely 26 inch/66cm vintage Lambkin baby doll is ready and waiting to join your collection. Lambkin baby dolls from EFFANBEE were made from the early 1920s until the 1960s in the USA. This doll is from the 1950s period when the cloth... and composition dolls were giving way to the newer plastics pioneered after WW2 but still retains the "stitched through" upper thigh construction which gave these dolls such realistic poses sitting and lying down. This doll has a 'real skin' feel and is in very good condition. There are a few rubs on the back of its head but the facial features are in perfect condition, including the characteristic Lambkin upper teeth which add to the doll's delightful little toddler's expression.1950s See more
