25.01.2022 From all of us here at GJ Murdock & Co we wish a safe and Happy Easter! As we all know we can’t do much in this weird world we call Covid 19 in saying that we will be open tomorrow all day and Easter Saturday morning till 12 noon! For Saturday afternoon, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday will be by appointment only! Warren (0428859243) Adam (0447154021) We do ask for social distancing, and please cooperate with rules in place upon arrival into our yard We have been extremely ...busy the past few weeks with gravel for the council, fertiliser from Adelaide and Wallaroo, grain to feedlots, deliveries from the yard, bobcat/excavation jobs and recently stocking the yard back up and clearing some stone heaps and reefs on our farm and even had the youngest member of our team giving us a hand (Haven’t had time to scratch ourselves as Wazza puts it) Exciting news is we will be stocking red gum ready for the cold winter approaching us! With you all stuck at home we would hate you to be cold! It was planned to be here tomorrow morning but some heavy rain has halted the pick up so won’t be here till early next week! 24.01.2022 So a busy week has come to an end for most! Thanks to all our helpers over the past little while and to all our valued customers! We love doing deliveries and work for you and do our very best to cater for all your needs We have been busy with just the 1 side tipper concentrated to the council road works, the other has been busy on deliveries all around the YP the yard has been busy with customers and bulk deliveries walking out the gate bobcat and mini excavato...r have been busy with jobs for the past week and weeks to come leading into harvest! 22.01.2022 Well another week bites the dust We haven’t stopped all week, from grain moving around the state, fertiliser deliveries, gravel for the council, deliveries from the yard and plenty of trailers entering the yard to be filled up with what they desire Extremely sorry for any phone calls we have missed and any inconvenience that it may have caused, we are doing our very best ... We are stocking, Hanson (5mm, 10mm, 20mm agg, 20mm road base and fines) Redding’s limestone (10mm, 20mm Agg, 20mm road base, 30mm amd fines) Ardrossan dolomite fines and 20mm Garden loam, landscaping mulch, pine chips, pre mix and bags of cement Bricky sand, (big red plastering sand, concreting sand and sand pit sand) But will do our best to help with what you need! 21.01.2022 Well what a week We welcomed a new addition to the family! A massive congratulations to Brandon & Brooke perfection is an understatement Welcome to the world Louella Shae Murdock... We also picked up our new Side Tippers and got them to work late in the week! Side Tippers will allow us to tip in spots that semis can’t etc! Very happy with them Finished cutting our hay and got rid of some young sheep been busy on deliveries all over the peninsula and quoting up jobs for the upcoming few weeks Both trucks will be busy from now right through to harvest but Warren will be in the yard or not far away for any of your Landscaping supplies etc So for any of your gravel, sand, mulch, pine chips, pavers, bags of cement, bobcat work, mini excavator, loader or any bulk deliveries don’t hesitate to give us a buzz! 16.01.2022 What a start to a fresh week We are all hoping for a bit of moisture later in the week to keep the crops ticking along Here we have been a little quiet with the trucks with end of the financial year and some new restrictions being put to us which we have had to and are working through at the minute. **Watch this space**... The yard has been extremely busy with plenty of deliveries and some bobcat and small landscaping jobs Our wood supply has taken a hit as we are unable to get any RED GUM at the minute. Our last 2 tonne that is ordered will be heading out the yard this week! We are hoping to have some back here shortly to be able to keep you warm. 14.01.2022 New financial year The last 6 - 9 months we would all like to forget (bushfires, Covid 19) But let’s hope we can all move forward and keep on keeping on ... 12.01.2022 So the worlds gone crazy right? This virus is making it so hard for so many! We have close friends having to shut establishments down put workers off and try and survive. Not nice, shit, crazy and bloody scary! We are all here for you and anything you guys need do not hesitate to let us know we all go through hard times but just know we are all here for each other we are Aussies we will bloody win this battle On a little lighter note we have still been productive and bu...sy with the trucks, supplies out of the yard and bobcat/loader jobs! We cannot thank our fantastic customers enough for trusting us through this trying time! Everyone is in a spin but we will do our best to keep you moving forward where we can wether it be Fertiliser to make sure you get your crop in the ground, delivering some gravel to make your yard look nice in case you have to look at it for the next 2 weeks straight or carting some gravel on weekends to prepare for a shed to be rebuilt after our devastating bushfires took the lot! 11.01.2022 Well that’s another week done Busy is an understatement We welcomed Brandon home to the family business this week and straight to work he was Side tippers flat out but have come to a little stop with the busy Easter period coming up ... Fertiliser slow and steady with hold ups on boats etc and some lentils moving around the place from on farm Yard has been busy with Wazza around majority of the time Some farm jobs with the new lambs starting to drop and feeding well underway Also a quick update on our fire wood situation We are unable at this very minute to get hold of any red gum at all. 09.01.2022 Been a while since we have posted! Been flat out with life and keeping the wheels turning! With some restrictions being lifted we still ask for social distancing (1.5m) when coming into our yard and we will shake your hands in the near future we are sure thanks so much for your understanding but the new normal is just around the corner So we have had both trucks busy with the council recently, fertiliser deliveries, landscaping jobs with the bobcat and the little t...ruck has been flat out with deliveries from the yard with firewood, gravel, pine chips and landscaping mulch when we have had the time! In saying that Wazza will be in the yard and around the place as of Monday to keep up with the demand of deliveries and filling trailers to your needs! We apologise to anyone who has come in and we have not been there (please read our sign on shed door and give one of us a buzz to sort something out, we normally aren’t too far away) Hope everyone has a fantastic and relaxing weekend! 09.01.2022 A massive Thank-you to all involved yesterday in making the funeral run the way it did! It was a fitting send off! To McQueens funeral services, Western United footy club for the catering and allowing us to have funeral there, anyone that gave a hand setting up, cleaning and polishing trucks etc Thank You very much Thanks to Earle Signs for a great job sign writing the truck and trailers for us last week!
