08.01.2022 It’s a pretty small world I looked at this old girl for a gentleman about 14-15yrs ago,the gentleman that asked me to look at it was interested in buying it,he explained it had been in the shed for 8-9yrs it was a one owner (an elderly couple bought it new) matching number original car. We ventured off to view the car and it is totally as explained to me. I inform my friend to buy it and he does. My friend being a sheet metal/ panel beater explained he wanted to do the majority of the Resto himself as he explains with my guidance/ help. Well 18yrs later after a few health hurdles along the way with life, the Old HQ Statesman is finished with just the final De-Nib/Buff and Detail being finished off as we speak.
