23.01.2022 Today I experimented and Tom gave it a 9/10! So often ‘raw treats’ are literally FILLED with calories. A bliss ball made with dates and nuts can add up to 200 calories! You can eat a flake for less. I don’t necessarily enjoy raw treats, on low fodmap I tend to stay away from too many dates and nuts. When I do make them, I try to keep them simple, date free and as low calorie as I can. Oat and Chia Base 1 Cup Oats... 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil 1 Tablespoon Honey Splash of water Blitz until combined and sticking together, then press into silicone mini muffin tray. In the fridge she goes. This makes around 18 mini bases. Filling 1 Ripe Banana 2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter 1 Tablespoon Maca Powder Blitz until smooth, spoon into base, leaving room for the top! In the fridge again!! Place one frozen blueberry in the centre of each cup then top with my Ice Magic recipe - Coconut Oil, Honey and Cacao Powder. If you haven’t made this, simply melt 2-3 tablespoons Coconut Oil and mix in a tablespoon Honey and Cacao Powder. Pour over each cup and refrigerate or freeze. Enjoy!

20.01.2022 Movement Challenge Week 1 Results Far out girls! Week 1 has been incredible! I've seen lots of you walking around and clocking up some big numbers on the steps and Km's! Amazing effort everyone for the first week! Results so far... Tuesdays - 430 points SSM - 270 points Fit Bits - 240 points ACK - 200 points Housemates & Blood, Sweat & Beers - 140 points, neck and neck! There's so much opportunity for you and your team to smash out some big points! One group got a huge 180 points this morning ;) Points explained Online Session - 5 points In House Session - 10 points 10,000 steps - 10 points 0-5km walk/run - 10 points 5+km walk/run - 20 points Not Whinging about Burpees - 50 points! 19.01.2022 When your gals get behind you Second attempt because my phone camera is slower than the internet during covid lockdowns. I have wanted to jump up and reach my new rig ever since it was put up and tonight it finally happened! ! That’s 2.4m high and I managed 8 chin ups over both attempts. Keep chipping away at your goals and they will reward you when you least expect it. #happyfithealthy

18.01.2022 I’m so excited for June 5th!! Can’t wait for our first sessions back in the shed at @workshop26_kimba !! Things will be a little different, in a good way! The comeback is happening just as fast as the set back so things are feeling crazyyy! Online classes will continue to be offered, a great chance for you to join in when your husbands leave early spraying and you can’t leave the kids to come in. I will only be offering a limited number of mass group classes, including y...our favs Yobility and Rookies. This means that I will be opening up to offer small organised groups of up to 4 people. A great way for you to get into the gym with your friends if you feel intimidated by not knowing who else will be there, so get that small group of friends together and come down to move well with me! 17.01.2022 Member Spotlight ‘The Boss’ Shenae M... This superwoman has been with me from session #1 in Kimba. A regular am session lover , and all round awesome person. I’ve no idea how you got the name Boss, but it’s stuck and you deserve it Shenae such an inspiration to the entire HFH Crew, we have watched you grow your 4th baby and even had little G in the gym when she was only a few months old. 5 years on the am crew means you’ve clocked up close to a whopping 500 sessions!!! An incredible feat, all for the goodness of that rocking bod, that moves so damn well. I can safely say The Boss loves anything to do with Hamstrings and does enjoy a good burpee. We love having your bright, bubbly , hard working energy in the room and online Shenae. Thank you for letting me make those muscles sore for the last 5 years. #legend #happyfithealthy

17.01.2022 Dreaming of warmer times! I think it was around 45deg when I whipped up this smoothie! I’ll have a hot herbal tea today thanks Do you find it hard to motivate yourself over winter? It’s too cold, you don’t want to go outside, the weights are cold (true ) winter is my least favourite time of the year. I love cosy warm jumpers and nights by the fire but it stops about there for me! I suffer so badly from chilblains on my feet and I feel like I can’t get warm for 3 months of... the year! Winter is the best time to do those hot and hard workouts though! Get warm, get sweaty and work hard! 5 tips from this cold frog to keep you motivated during winter. 1Get up early and exercise in the morning. Ok we have established that it’s fkn cold, so get yourself out of bed and warm up with a good am workout. You’ll make better choices throughout the day with food and you’ll have energy to get shit done! You won’t make the excuse that it’s too dark or late in the evening because you’ve already smashed out a workout that morning! 2Work hard! Choose HIIT workouts and workouts with a bit of cardio in them. A bit of heavy breathing will get the blood pumping around your body and get you warm! 3Eat hearty meals. Don’t just opt for the pasta because you cbf. Put on a slow cooker filled with veggies and good quality meat to enjoy for tea! Packed full of nutrients and super comforting food without the huge calorie intake. 4Keep moving! This one is my biggest foe. I work a 9-5 job a few days a week and in the cold weather I sometimes get stuck sitting at my desk, not wanting to move, feeling cold and sorry for myself. When I feel this start to happen I always get up and move! Sweep the shop or do a bit of dusting, get the blood flowing again! 5Stay hydrated! With tea! My go to for winter hydration is herbal tea. None of us drink enough in winter and it results in dry skin, feeling flat and reaching for food instead of water! Herbal tea saves my cold little butt in winter. Take your favourite flavour to work and sip on a tea while you work. If you work with boys like me, they won’t drink your tea so you’re safe to lave it laying around Stay warm, keep moving.



16.01.2022 My new power bags are a huge hit with the team!! You can use them for EVERYTHING! big compound movements are my favourite, these bad boys will get you using lots of muscles and sweatyyy ! They are soft, have multiple handles, and range from 5-25kg. Perfect for beginners right through to advanced gym gurus. Big thanks to @littleblokefitness for fitting out the dungeon with some awesome new equipment.

FAT FARMERS I am so excited to be working on an incredible project in conjunction with Fat Farmers Organisation that will be going live on Feb 22nd! Our Farmers Fitness crew will start back up Feb 3rd and I can’t wait to get back into it! ... 13.01.2022 When the Spinach goes nuts Spinach and Feta enchiladas! These were so bloody easy and delicious. I filled my Thermomix with spinach, added a dozen or more leaves of mint and blitzed until the spinach was chopped finely. Add 100g of Feta and blitz again only for a few seconds until it’s combined. You want chunks of feta left! Add 70ml Cream and mix well. I used wraps and made them as you would make a spring or rice paper roll. This mixture made enough for 3 wraps. Use around 1/2 cup of the mixture for each wrap. Spoon passata over the top of the roll up and bake for 25-30mins at 180 degrees. #happyfithealthy

Here you can see from the side, I’m demonstrating a lunge with some mobility blocks V’s a lunge with better range of motion. From the front you can see a lunge with my knee not tracking over my toe V’s correct tracking over my toe. ... 12.01.2022 Red Lentil Tacos 1/2 Cup Lentils 1 1/2 Cups Water 1/2 Cup Passata... 2 tsp Ground Cumin 1 tsp Ground Coriander 1 tsp Minced Garlic 1/2 tsp Ground Sweet Paprika Pour the lentils into a pot, add water, spices and passata and cook until lentils are soft. Red Cabbage, Silverbeet, Corn, Avo, Mint. Mix together and add juice from half a Lime to make it zing zing zing Making tacos healthier and delicious #happyfithealthy

11.01.2022 Sundried Tomato Broccoli patties Quite often I forget to organise tea before I start afternoon sessions, I get home at 7:30 and stir fry veggies it is tonight I made the easiest most delicious veggie patties! 4-5 big florets broccoli- steam for 15mins 2 slices stale wholemeal bread ... 1 egg 2 small slices Parmesan 3-4 Sundried tomato’s 1tsp Dijon mustard Blitz the bread to make crumbs, add everything else and blitz for 5-10 seconds (I used my Thermomix speed 5, 10sec) Form into patties and cook in a pan with olive oil on a medium heat until brown. Serve with smoked salmon. You could serve with some Greek yoghurt too but my version is low fodmap for me. See more

My business is (finally) online, I am loving my morning live sessions and love that I can reach so many of you, thanks to technology! ... @workshop26_kimba girls have been angels this year so grateful for the opportunities you have given my little business and the support you continue to give me My Happy Fit Healthy Army what would this little gym be without you all!
