23.01.2022 Camille is continuing these classes now, while I am travelling. Many thanks to all. It has been my pleasure and privelege to share yoga with you the last couple of years. You are in kind, safe hands with Camille

23.01.2022 To celebrate the arrival of Spring, I am taking a short holiday in Bali. 6 days of yoga, warm waters and warm weather. I am even going to have my first ever go at surfing! Wish me luck. So - no classes Mon 5 Sept, Tues 6 Sept or Sat 10 Sept. Do you think tandem surfing might be a bit ambitious for a first attempt or do you think it looks okay?... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvImyV5V1Mk&sns=em

23.01.2022 "This is like being on a retreat!" Yes, it is

22.01.2022 Peters goal for this year was to come in and out of headstand with straight legs.

21.01.2022 What fantastic development! In just a few months too. Clearly, all my hard work is paying off #totallytakingthecreditforthis. Right, Steve?

20.01.2022 Opening the hamstrings! Such a good thing to do if you spend a lot of time sitting, running or cycling.

19.01.2022 Side crow. Strengthens arms, wrists, shoulders, abs, spine. Increases flexibility of the spine. Massages internal organs, helps digestion. Improves balance. The good news is you get all these benefits even as you build up to the balance Of course, the balance feels great if you get there!

19.01.2022 Playing around with Crow Pose. Bakasana. Crow strengthens the shoulders, triceps, inner thighs and core. It improves concentration and balance - even if your feet never even get off the ground!

18.01.2022 Many of you will remember how thrilled I was a few months back to be picked by an amazing yogi and helicopter pilot to fly with her in Alaska? Well here I am! There will be more pics coming - I so want so share this wondrous place!

18.01.2022 Classes start again from Saturday 14 2017. Same times and days as last year. Here is a descriptor of what to expect. Monday 5.30-7pm This will be a pretty chill class. The pace will be slower and we will unpack the basic poses. It will be an opportunity to stretch, relax and unwind. It is a class that will appeal to beginners, if you're looking to refine the basics, or if you just need to find focus and recharge. It's going to be a beautiful class. I feel relaxed just t...hinking about it. Tuesday 5.30-7pm This class will offer more challenge. We will warm the body with a dynamic flow then prep for more advanced poses. Be inspired not intimidated! Modifications will be offered for all levels of ability. We'll also include stretching and some meditation. I'm excited. Looking forward to this class. Saturday 9.30-11am It's the weekend - hooray! This is a relaxed, fun class. A dynamic flow to warm up followed by a variety of poses and incorporating some partner yoga at times, finishing up with stretching and relaxation. You'll leave ready to start the weekend clear and energised. I will continue to scout for beautiful spots to practice outdoors!

14.01.2022 Twists are a great way to keep the spine supple and to stretch the muscles of the back. They also leave you feeling clean, clear and refreshed! This week we've been looking at various twists from simple to the more advanced. Always options and variations for every range of ability.

14.01.2022 Develop your strength, flexibility and peace of mind as you work through a series of asanas. Classes are suitable for all, whether you are just starting out or seeking to develop your practice.

10.01.2022 Happy New Year all. I am busily planning next years classes! Look forward to unpacking the basics, prepping for more advanced poses, and stretching & unwinding with restorative classes. You'll be building strength, flexibility, balance. On and off the mat. And having fun. Guaranteed. I got to play in a friend's dance studio yesterday Industrie Performing Arts What a wonderful way to welcome in the new year.

09.01.2022 Joanna asks 'If we want to practice at home (my New Year's resolution!) is it best to practice in the mornings or evenings?' The answer is either, both and it depends! Moving and stretching your body is good for you at any time of day. ... Doing so more than once a day is even better Practice when it best suits you and your schedule. Make it a regular and sustainable part of your day. Sun salutations stretch and energise so are particularly good to do in the morning and during the day. Forward folds and restorative poses are particularly good at night to help set you up for a good nights sleep. We can talk through this more in class

09.01.2022 Age is no barrier to doing yoga. Here is my forward fold in April 2015 (left) at 52 and here it is in April 2017.

09.01.2022 Thanks to all who came to class this morning. And thanks to Floriade and Lulu Lemon for hosting. A beautiful practice!

As those who practised in the woods Tuesday will surely agree! I'm looking forward to it. It is so beautiful down there. See you there. On Saturday. For a 9.30 start. All welcome. 01.01.2022 Stay warm and limber over the cool winter months. Class times: Monday 5.30-7pm Tuesday 5.30-7pm Saturday 9.30-11am

01.01.2022 The water adds such an interesting element. The extra buoyancy lets you get deep into a pose, the flow challenges the balance. It is such fun. We should have a class out here!
